Have to be satisfied with a home tie against Parkgate or Leek, not sure either of them will be too thrilled to be coming to Chorley though.

Away at Sutton Coldfield/Rushall Olympic.

Rushall play in the Southern League Premier Central and are 16th
Sutton Coldfield in the Southern League First Division Central and are 14th.

Cant grumble with that. Should progress with 9k banked. We shall see

Sutton Coldfield it is after they won the replay 1-0 tonight.

You'll enjoy the matchday experience at Coles Lane DSL. Especially with the Ultras with their trumpet and drums it went down a treat with us and the home fans. That's if they are still banging out a few tunes?

Unfortunately I am away so missing the game. Am I right in thinking its a 3G Pitch there?

Gainsborough won 8-2 in their replay.

Apparently Gainsborough were five minutes away from making club history on Tuesday Night.
After 85 minutes they led 8-0 and were on course to beat the previous club best of 7-0 - achieved against both Fleetwood Town and Great Harwood Town.

But two late goals from the visitors meant the full-time score was 8-2, which was still a club record for goals scored in a game.

Second Qualifying Rd today.

Alfreton away at Southern League Central Sutton Coldfield Town.

Wont be easy on a 3G pitch but an ideal chance to get back to winning ways and bank 9k.

Hendon’s 2nd qualifying round tie at home to Phoenix Sports has been postponed as it appears that Phoenix will be expelled for fielding an ineligible player in their previous tie against Lancing.

Chester 4-0 City of Liverpool

Had to be patient in the first half but ended up being a bit of a stroll for us in the end. Good to see plenty of the youth lads feature and get on the scoresheet as well.

422 lively away fans, a good bunch.

Boston had a mare, losing 2-0 to Peterborough Sports.

Good 3-0 win for Gainsborough. They seem to have started the season well.

A first home win of the season, very straightforward in the end.

Whitley Bay had a man sent off (not a red IMO) and were never ever in it.

Sutton Coldfield 2-2 Alfreton

Well an absolutely abysmal first 15 minute sure us 2-0 down.

After that we played them off the park apparently. Cannot afford to give 2 goals starts to teams though.

Billy was furious at half time and gave the players a bollocking at half time and full time..

We hit the post twice, had a goal controversially ruled out and had a stone wall penalty denied so lady luck wasnt with us.

After being 2-0 down within 6 minutes we are in the hat for the next round and i will take that.

Tesday is a game we could have done without though for sure.

Not sure whats happening there but their recent signings have left a lot to be desired started well and were my pre season tip but it seems to be falling apart.

Gainsbrough benefiting from dropping a division and winning games on a consistent basis I think.

Comfortable game for us. 1-0 up at halftime after 22 shots, 5-0 at full time after 34 shots.

We just showed the difference in levels we tired them out and it showed in the second half.

Bit of a rotation for us as well Bradley, Austin, and Johnson coming back in with Baxendale making his first start. Hat-Trick for Bradley as well which will give MacFarlane a selection for Alty. We also gave debuts to 2 academy players off the bench when we went 4-0 up.

Fourth straight 0-2 defeat at home for Boston.

Blimey. I almost miss the days of waving brown envelopes at Steve Evans from their very reasonable away terrace. Shithole of a town, mind.

My local side AFC Sudbury still in the hat after a creditable 1-1 draw at Bognor.

Found myself at Met Police for their game against Needham Market... pretty boring 2-2 draw really, both teams cancelling each other out mostly and the home side not being able to take advantage of Needham being down to 10 men for the last 25 minutes.

Tough to call how the replay will go, but my gut feeling is Needham will just about edge it, though there will be very little in it based on this.

Darlington 0 Bradford (Park Avenue) 1

Very disappointed but not surprised we've bailed out as per usual, we just don't do progress in the cup competitions anymore. Well as TW says it's back to the fucking drawing board!

Nothing much to take out of the game really on my behalf it was just another unacceptable performance and Bradford were by far a much better side, they looked well organized and fully deserved their victory.

Wasn't really gunna bother going today. I wish i hadn't now! Sleepless nights I'm afraid to say for our Tommy boy.

I got chatting to a Bradford supporter he said their 18-year-old goalkeeper got called up unexpectedly and was making his Bradford debut today.

Comfortable 3-0 win, strolled through second half. Leek played some good football but were unable to score, 5 changes for us, including competitive debut for keeper, then 2 more given second half game time, including debut for Lussey.
