Fairly routine FA cup performance from us.

Hilarious seeing supposed grown up men get in such a rage through their bitterness and jealously.

Notice how bar roversfan who is about 12 and thinks the only way to get in in life is to try and join in trolling on each thread. All the supporters involved are from clubs that have achieved nothing in their history. The bigger clubs in this division their supporters tend to just post normally.

Ever single Gillingham fan on here sees Wigan as their biggest rival which is so cute. They all constantly bang on about Wigan more than their own club. Sorry lads but Wigan fans don't give a damn about you.

Really? Far as I am concerned, you don't even make our top 10 of rivalries, such as they are.

Well, that was mostly fun. I dreaded Lyle taking the penalty because he's missed a couple.

There was in injured pigeon on the pitch for at least 25 minutes. It walked around pecking at the grass and didn't get off despite two goals being scored close to it.

Very good performance from Donny today. Best performance we've put in all season. Hopefully this is the start of a consistent run of form for us, but knowing us under fergy I wouldn't bet much money on it.

I don’t doubt that footballing wise it’s better to have the better teams move up the leagues. From a fans point of view it’s better to have bigger clubs in the league was more my point.

I vaguely follow a local club in the NCEL and there are 2 or 3 bankrolled clubs even in their league so it’s not going to go away unfortunately.
Interested as to why you say its not going to go away UNFORTUNATELY. FC United was born from the fans loathing of the Glazers, a new stadium built near where Newton Heath plied their trade many years ago. The point is they were a breath of fresh air to many non league clubs when they started out and the club has rejuvenated an area of Manchester which has seen better days
Think how boring it would be if the same old clubs played each other year in year out, remember its not that long ago that the 2 teams at the bottom of the old 'league 4' were relected year in and year out, the old farts at the Football League based in St.Annes kept the staus quo, no doubt the likes of Wrexham/York/Tranmere/Aldershot/Harlepool/Gateshead/|Barrow/Leyton Orient/Torquay wish that were was still the case -need I say more, Happy Christmas while I'm at it, although I hope you have a miserable New Years Day but I'm not holding my breath !

I say ‘unfortunately’ as bankrolling clubs is often messy at grassroots. The club I follow (Thackley) has been around for nearly 80 years and is a big part of the community mainly through running youth footy and particularly girls football. It basically struggles to break even every year but operates due to graft from a few dedicated individuals. If they had an offer for too much money then they’d probably have to accept and then it becomes someone’s project. The two clubs bankrolled in their division that I know of (Handsworth and AFC Mansfield) both don’t play at their own grounds and I believe Handsworth even moved to Worksop to play in a bigger ground at one stage so I don’t see how that benefits the community. I’m sure they’ve both got ‘10 year visions’ or something where they can go back to pretending they’re traditional and anchored in their community.

One mans boring is another’s traditional. Vs. Stockport is our most played league fixture, they always brought a few and it produced a lot of decent games over the years but now doesn’t look like it will be happening again any time soon.

Best wishes to you to and I’d say we have more chance of getting something at yours than at Valley Parade.

Yeovil or Vale away, Jesus. You know it’s gonna be Yeovil as well and we lose 2-1 and they get Man Utd in the 4th.

Load of shit, always on the cards regardless of my deluded optimism. We play Port Vale every season, so they're bound to win.

QPR away, back to the site of the 4-2 win in 12/13 that sent Harry Redknapp raging.
London away games are always good, doubt we'll take 3.5k fans again but there should be a good following by our standards.

Bournemouth away. Last time I went there our reserves just about scraped past them. Same again will probably happen this time, but the other way round. Or Fylde could just beat us in the replay which I wouldn’t have a huge problem with to be honest.

We're also over the moon. More repeats this season of the Little Grey Fergie than in at least a fortnight of "Shed and Buried"... :)

Quite a good game tonight; result a bit harsh on Slough, but at least the ghost of Sir John Betjeman will be pleased!

Result! I work for a stewarding company that does Millwall, West Ham and Wembley. I get to choose the events I work at so I'll get paid to follow my team. Okay, I won't be able to watch properly but at least I'll be able to soak up the atmosphere.

Hull at home if we manage not to bottle it again in the replay. Went to their game on Saturday, reckon we could do 'em if we put a shift in based on what I saw.

Wouldn't have any problem with losing next Tuesday though, unnecessary distraction.

Almost got Chelsea (providing of course), but a home tie would be fine.

I’d be surprised if you wasn’t, it’s not often we reach the 3rd round so you hope for a plum tie not one against a league rival, oh well

Never been so proud of our side, we were absolutely brilliant. Thought a draw was a very fair result, looking forward to the replay!

A couple of your players are good friends of mine. I can tell you they are over the moon, as you might expect following the result!

At home to AFC Fylde tonight in the replay.

Can't see the team being as strong as last time, however would expect to get a result and go through. Can't see there being more than 5,000 to be honest, I'd imagine about 400 from Fylde..

Would it be that surprising? It's probably the biggest match in Fyldes history. Wigan is just another L1 away day for Fleetwood, a league they have been in for four years.

Thanks to our postponement we've now got Carlisle away next Tuesday followed by Fleetwood away on the Friday. Wonderful.
