The vitriol against Sanchez is a bit much. He's a premiership footballer, they don't do it for the love of the club they do it for the money. ALL OF THEM. Anyone would think the Yeovil fans supported arsenal.

Although judging from the responses in the Yeovil end when man utd scored half of them support united...

Thought Yeovil gave a decent account of themselves first half except for the disaster for the goal. That was a shame as that really turned the game Man U’s way. Second half was all one way traffic to be honest.

A couple of observations - that mess in the centre circle was amazing. I mean I’m all for levelling the field, as it were, but that was a whole new level! Nice to see the away end full and a good crowd.

Superb effort from us against a Swansea team with the likes of Bony, Ki, Renato Sanches, Mawson, Abraham, Narsingh, Fer, Ayew etc

Slightly conflicted because after a quiet first half we had them completely rattled for the first 20 of the second but stopped and settled for a replay when we equalised. Understandable with likely TV money etc, but just think we should’ve kept going for at least a few more mins.

No surprise we went back to 4-4-2 and looked good again! :D

I'm a proud skyblue tonight. We deserved that today.
Well done to both the county's , well hopefully Newport either beat Spurs or at least bet a draw.
I just hope this doesn't derail a promotion/playoff push. We've pocketed £200,000 so far not taking into account the gate money so if we can get a bit more competition for places through the door this week before Feb comes that will really help.

Well done Coventry and Notts, excellent efforts from both of you. Did Coventry outnumber MK today?

Come on Newport, please hang on!

Credit to Newport - did well even under pressure and earned the draw.

Certainly deserved to lead at half time.

We did outnumber them.

That's without taking into account significant numbers of Coventry fans who were in the home end. About 200 of them were allowed to move next to the away end after the goal.

All I could think of today was Mike Basset on 442. Notts are a much much much better side when we play 442. If we can reach those levels in the league we will be fine. Excellent performance from Duffy, Brisley, Hewitt and Stead.

Elliott Hewitt is fucking superb. Just play him with one other (Husin/Virtue/Noble) and go with Hawkridge on the right (side looks far more balanced with him there rather than Noble/Alessandra) and we'll be just fine.

Hewitt is Nolan’s finest work to date, no fan at Notts saw that coming or suggested prior to super Kev.

Also, Stead’s goalscoring record in the FA cup is pretty tidy isn’t it? Great penalty taker too. In a nice rich goalscoring run of late, not bad for a target man few didn’t want anywhere near the club this season

9800 there to see it, so another nice little payday and fingers crossed for a TV appearance for the replay which would boost the coffers once again

Talk a about a comedown for Yeovil, they go from playing Man Utd one game to playing us the next in front of probably one man and his dog.

Well the motd stats bit at the end of the end of the game said you had one shot on target that could be why?

Well, yeah, it’s a turn of phrase ain’t it.

Was a classic example of how the stats at the end of the game can be completely misleading, though. With 76% possession and 9 shots on target it looked like we were under siege for the entire game, whereas that was generally a ridiculously slow 30 pass move in their own half that ended with a speculative 30 yard shot straight at Collin.

Good news for us, our replay at Swansea is being broadcast live on the BBC, with fees, sponsorship and gate receipts the game should be worth between 100 and 150k in all, (well over 200 if you take into account the original fixture too) bit more in the transfer kitty. Newport's replay is on too.

Aye, cracking stuff. Would imagine the run will be over and they’ll be too strong at home, but with the prize money and the Oxford City TV game having been televised as well it’s been a great earner for the club.

I think getting drawn away at Man United or something might be our best hope as it may mean that, even if they don’t mean to, Swansea psychologically decide that they don’t really fancy an extra game that they’ll almost certainly lose.

Brighton will probably field a weaken side so a chance for Coventry?

The TV guys will want it to be Millwall v Spurs so be funny if Newport defy the odds again.

A lot of Coventry fans disappointed with the draw.

Will be quite a small allocation as well.

Yeah it’s not a great draw for Coventry sadly, they’ve not had the best of luck with their ties so far. Notts County’s is good from a geographical perspective but I imagine pretty uninspiring otherwise. Newport’s is shite if they somehow get passed Spurs.

Not a great draw for League 2.
