Been posted on Facebook that he's okay, he was crushed.

That away end at Tranmere is a massive hazard. The drop down the bottom could be nasty, especially with seat holders sticking up.

To be fair, the front 5 rows were taped off yesterday before kickoff. I don't know why we didn't just move the netting to open up another block of seats close to the main stand instead of letting of people move the tape and sit at the front though.

I think the police were trying to keep the two sets of naughty boys apart.

If our away end is a safety hazard, I don't know what some of the grounds we visit are. I got the impression it was the over-exuberance of the Wrexham fans after scoring the goal that caused the accident.

We haven't had too many goals to celebrate in fairness. Seeing one go in is a good reason to get carried away.

Think that's something we can appreciate. Only eight this season from 12 games, we managed more than that in one game last season.

There's many a worse ground in this league, but there's no excuse for a ground to become a safety hazard in the midst of celebration. Barely any pose a significant danger.

Yeah it's a strange feature. Also in most of the grounds in this league it's the stadium that is in danger of being crushed by fans.

In general though I like PP a lot. I've been in both away and home stands over the years, its a great ground. Although possible not right now if you are a Tranmere fan. Certainly a feeling every Wrexham fan can sympathize with after our last few seasons.

What drop? The stand steps steadily all the way down to the bottow row which is at pitch level. Looking at pictures to jog my memory, but I'm not sure I get what you mean.

There's a small drop down the bottom due to the seats on the bottom row being ripped out. The metal bits from the seats remained however. I'm surprised this bit was opened up.

Ahh, gotcha. Yeah, doesn't sound ideal.

Cannot complain at the rest of the ground however. Great facilities and commonsensical stewards.

I always enjoy visiting PP.

Those metal posts are why you should always make sure youve had your tetanus jab before travelling to Tranmere.

So firstly they are forced to take down a disgusting RACIST banner about 'White Army' and now they are turning the away end into a health and safety hazard.
What the fuck are Tranmere turning into here the scum? :animatedf:

disappointing lack of red footwear there

I was quite late to the game, but I'm pleased I managed to get a seat a bit higher up and avoid that accident waiting to happen. Ended up near to a kid enthusiastically blowing a vuvuzela, but I'll take temporary ear bleeding over potential death.

Looks like a DEATH TRAP. Not to mention all rusted out barriers and concrete that hasn't been pressure washed or brushed in about 25 years by the look of it. Tranmere preparing for a long stay down here then, confirmed. Standards have dropped big-time.

Think the club are removing the metal bits today. It's a disgrace though, hope the fan is ok.

I bet we did not have a safety certificate for those front rows. Then again, I am not sure how we had a safety certificate for the pitch.
