Does anyone else's clubs seem to do a disproportionate amount of business with certain clubs?

For us it seems to be Crawley after taking Izale McCloed, Enzio Boldewijn , Manager Harry Kewell and Rob Milsom back on loan with view to permanent signing in a fairly short period it also seems we pay fees to Crawley and make our free signings elsewhere!

We go through fits and starts depending on the owners or manager at any given time. We used to do alot of business with man city. That stopped when we got the sports direct deal. Now the new owner is in we seem to have a link up with the whole of Europe in general.

Seems that Yates has a connection with Coventry. Got a few players from them so far.

We used to be tagged as Liverpool's feeder club in our Championship days. It was all a bit of nonsense though, never really much gained from it for either club (apart from Rob Jones and Danny Murphy for them) other than a few pre-season friendlies when Liverpool fans would be pitch invading wankers. Friendship died a death without Roy Evans and their old CEO, and their academy pinching antics.

Us and Macc have shared a lot of players down the years! Likewise Peterborough.

But we've never had a feeder set-up per se.

Port Vale are our feeder club, they sign a ridiculous number of our former players. Found 13 since the start of the 09-10 season: Pope, Daniels, Tomlinson, Artell(well, briefly), Moore, Ikpeazu, Yates, Grant, Daniel, Leitch-Smith, O'Connor, Roberts, Sutton.

Also shared managers and promotions/relegations within a year of the other doing so.

Fuck it, I'll share my chips with you when you come to macc.

Luke Rodgers. And they actually gave us money for him.

We are (or at least were) Bristol City's feeder club which makes sense give oiur location. I'd say more than 50% of our loan signings since we first entered the Football League have come from down the m5. They've also nicked a few of our best players over the years (Brian Wilson, Marlon Pack and Mo Eisa).

Bumped into some City fans at a Services on the M42 once and they actually asked how their reserves were getting on.

We used to have a lot of old York players under Hurst, seemingly every transfer window had ‘York City’ involved somewhere.
In 13/14, we signed Kerr, McLaughlin, Doig, Fyfield and Rodman who had all been at York the previous season!

If we're talking about links between clubs not necessarily players/staff going direct from one to the other then ourselves and Notts, in the last six years or so, since we were relegated down here, there's been.

Francois Zoko, Liam Noble, Mike Edwards, Adam Collin, Adam Campbell, Greg Abbott, Keith Curle, John Sheridan, Colin West, Lee Dykes, Shaun Brisley, Jamal Campbell-Ryce, Jake Jervis, Gary Liddle and Hayden White.

Of those, three, Collin, Edwards and Campbell have gone Carlisle - Notts - Carlisle, or Notts - Carlisle - Notts.

Us (Bury), Rochdale and Oldham have a little ex-player triangle going on.

The Gas used to use our ground for their reserves and loaned us players here and there.

We could have became Hartpury College's feeder club back in 2010, they already used our reserves and youth teams to give their students match experience and there were rumours they were interested in taking on the running of our first team when we were up for sale.

We’ve had a fair few players in the past ten years or so go to either Macc Town or Mansfield Town. We’ve signed a few ex Crewe although only a couple have come directly from them to us.

Shrewsbury were our feeder club for many years. Their record sale in the 90s was Dave Walton for £500,000 to us, a fee which kept them in business. We also signed Steve Anthrobus, Luke Rodgers and Darren Moss directly from them and also signed Ryan Lowe via Chester too. They loved a good Alex reject - Moss and Rodgers would go back to them along with Grant, Leitch-Smith, Tootle, Ellis, O'Donnell, Miller, Sorvel, Cramb, Sarcevic, Street and Junior Brown. There's probably a few more I've missed as well...
