Well we are a week away from finding out who we start against so lets see what we reckon

So for the following
Opening Day
Boxing Day
New Years Day
Last game

Who do you want and who do you think you'll actually play

For us
Opening = Fulham (a) but expect Blackburn (a)

Boxing Day = Derby (a) but think Wigan

New Years = Huddersfield (h) but reckon Forest (h)

Last Game = Charlton (h) but think Luton

I think that we will play 23 other teams twice between August and May with no discernible pattern of when....

Opening - Fulham (a) would be nice. Expect West Brom (H)

Boxing Day - Luton (H). Expect Birmingham (A)

New Years Day - QPR (H) and actually expect it to be something like that.

Mid March - Relegated at home in a 2-0 home defeat to someone shit like Reading.

Last Day - Preston (a) expect Derby (A)

Quite fancied a last day trip to East Anglia in the sun on the final day and then it hit me there is none. When was the last time neither Norwich or Ipswich were in this division?

We usually match up to Burnley and they're at home on the 10th, so I'd imagine we will start away from home. Probably be Reading or somewhere equally shit. London game would be nice though.

You'll start at home then Thomas..... As the PL kicks off a week after us.

The Challenge Cup semi finals take place a week earlier this year so we’re not guaranteed a home game first up like last season. Hopefully a relegated team home or away, always best to play them early.

I can't make the first few games so hopefully some really shit away games. Is Boxing Day still a 3pm kick off? If so then I want to be away for that as well as I can only make a home game if KO is at 1.

Hopefully open with either QPR away or Reading at home and we can get our usual worst performance of the season out of the way early.

Ideally though start with a home game against a local side who'll bring a decent following, Wednesday/Derby/Forest. Don't really care about boxing day etc.

Leeds at home opener
Brum first away
Charlton boxing day
Ah Bristol City away on Boxing Day, memories of a Karel Fraeye tactical masterclass and a shithouse point after a late Harry Lennon equaliser.

Those were the days.

The word going round is that we’ve got Stoke at home first.

Underwhelming first game back if that’s the case, hopefully a decent away trip straight after.

No trains mate, not the same doing London trips on a coach or car, cant remember last time I did tbh.
Are there not? I can't remember the last away game we even had on boxing day so wasn't aware of that.

Won't bother if that's the case.

Our last away game is Swansea away which will probably be a bubble trip and all :ffs:
