Since I got to lazy to do RefWatch back in March we've not won a game (P11, D5, L6), so to please the Football Gods and to ensure a glorious win on Saturday here's;
RefWatch; Ref for Fleetwood game is John Brooks, 27, from Melton Mowbray, a tiny town in the midlands where the locals are so thick, they think Ancestry.com is a dating website. Makes no secret of his huge ambition to be a Premiership ref and it shows - he had one of the biggest card counts in the EFL last season and his games are always stop-starty due to his incessant blowing.

Reffed Wombles once - 5-0 hammering of Bury in November (5Y). Reffed Fleetwood twice; 2-1 away loss to Port Vale (4Y 2R) & 1-0 home win v Millwall in April (2Y). Hates the scum. Reffed them twice last season and they lost both. Hates them. In 36 games last season he gave 150 Y & 10 R - huge Y count.
AnagramWatch; John Brooks Ref = Snob Jerk For Ho.

KettleWatch; Fantastic news! Scum hater (reffed them twice recently, lost both & he sent a scum off) & Gills lover (reffed 8 times last 4 years; W5 D2 L1) Trevor takes a trip to soulless Bletchley on Saturday to annoy the repulsive natives. Keep up the great work Trevor!

You won't really need one. We've scored one goal in our last eight league games.

I find myself in the curious position of defending Trevor. Never mind I can have a good wash later.

Over a long career, largely untroubled by competence and common sense, Trevor has consistently applied his own version of the laws of the game in the hallowed footsteps of such giants as Uriah Rennie. One of the few accusations that can never be laid at his doorstep however is one of bias - Trevor applies his own unique judgement with scant regard to whatever teams are trying to have a game of football on his pitch. As for him hating the 'scum', he officiated (in the loosest sense) three franchise games last season resulting in one win (vs Pish - :2thumb:), one draw (vs Walsall) and one loss (vs Oxford). He received a rapturous greeting from the MK fans at Peterboro which did knock the wind from his sails, however it should be noted that he hadn't officiated an MK game in six years and most of the fans would have been at nursery school in 2010.

Further detailed research into Trevors 'career' has highlighted one outlier - a single team currently occupying the lower reaches of the league have entertained Trevor (or is it Trevor has entertained them?) five times in the last six years and have yet to experience the giddy joy of three points.

Any guesses?

Fleetwood have indeed signed a central defender, Baily Cargill on loan. Spent a lot of last season on our bench, and finally made his debut in the PL. He's had a string of loans, Gillingham and Coventry recently. I'd like to think he'd be very good in League One. Decent in the air, prefers to play on the left of the two CBs.

Been waiting for the announcement since Rosler alluded to it earlier in the week. Sounds like another really good signing for Fleetwood giving further options at the back.
Bearing in mind Wombles have only scored one goal in the last eight you have every chance of doubling this, think we will go one better, 3-2 to the Cods

Morning all. Sitting on the coach waiting to set off. Looking forward to this one, fleetwood have had a great start to the season, we've been slow, but I'm expecting good things from us today. I'm confident of getting a hard fought point!

And with Worried being back, who knows we might even win!!

This will be a gallant defeat. I would take a point now if offered.

Wasn't very gallant, but a defeat none the less! We're lacking that little bit of quality. I really do think we need a formation change - this isn't working!!

Wombles are not a bad side and tbh the main difference was 2 quality strikes from Andrew Cole's son. In fact without the goals I cant remember either goalie having a shot to save, we have a gem of a player in Kyle Dempsey and without being on top form recorded our first ever win against the Wombles-a long time coming eh !

About time Devante Cole started scoring goals. Let's hope it continues

3 wins in a row and none conceded. Happy days
