Wasn't expecting that. Barker off injured, we've no fuckers left.

Excellent performance that and a well deserved win. Would have snapped your hand off for a point before the game but was a fully deserved 3 points in the end.

Paul Gallagher was outstanding as was Nmecha when he came on, joint men of the match for me. No suprise to see us looking more solid with Davies and Clarke back in the team.

Looked quality in the away end when we scored, wish I was there.

He's doing an excellent job, especially when you consider the constant changing he has to do. We need to back in January.

Barker done his hamstring?

Earl out for a month, so that's left side gone.

The Thomas Monks has nothing against him just lost his head at HT against Villa

I'm gathering Thomas Monks is Tompne94?

If so, that was a shit run we were on and even though I'm a massive fan of Neil I thought he might have been on his way by the end of that week aswell. I'm glad he wasn't.

Watched it on ifollow.

Smoke Bombs, flying beer bottles and a pitch invasion.

Thought we were good today, defended brilliantly. Davies was immense and DJ continues to improve his defensive game all the time.

Love Gally, me. Incredible guy. What a game he had.

Shout out to Nmecha too. Absolutely all over the pitch, flying around like a mad man. Helped Clarke out greatly.

Always liked Daniel Johnson, wish we’d have pushed that through (if it was a genuine option) as I think we needed someone with his sort of buzz and energy to replace Reid.

We were really poor after half time. First half we had a lot of the ball but couldn’t break Preston down, though felt we still had enough changes to be a goal or two up.

Second half was just rank to be honest. Preston were nothing to look at but they were very resilient. Horrendous goal to concede, i am done with Pantillimon. New GK top of our January list

With our injury list at the moment that’s pretty much all we can do. I had you on a group bet with my mates and it was the only one to let us down, I’ve been hammered all week for it

Early on in the season we were coming out on top in the possession stakes away from home and getting fuck all. Even with a fully fit squad, we're built for aggressive pressing and counter attacking football.

I still think Neil tried to evolve our style a bit at the start of the season which our defenders were incapable of and it led to us being badly exposed, we now look like we're playing to our strengths again.

Still no excusing some performances from certain players though and the lack of investment and injuries were also a major part.

But anyway fuck it, 1 defeat in 11, lets get to January sat in mid-table and then address things.

DJ's return is a boost, lets just hope Pearson and Gallagher don't break down. IF, massive fucking IF, Maguire can manage a run of games then we could be a strong outfit in the second half of the season.
