So our game in hand due to Lincoln's cup run. Would be hard enough on a Saturday but coming three days after a trip to Crewe will be even tougher. We look set to be without Law and Moxey, and with the continued absence of Boateng means we will be underdogs for this.
Still, defensively we are doing well though usually have a five minute mad spell in every game when we concede.
I fancy us to get a point though, the spirit in the team is good and Lincoln have been drawing lots lately.
1-1 Bowman. 165 Grecians.

Home win please.

Our friends at Sincil Bank still owe us one for 2016-17.

Strong referee required who won't play to the home support.
On a serious note not sure what to expect from us often depends how quickly we start, we get an early goal normally do well.
Start slowly we'll get battered like we did against the mighty Stevenage.
Wonder if we'll see another oppo manager crowd surfing if they score?

John Brooks the referee. Meant to be a rising star, but unsure I’d place him in the ‘strong’ category.

While I’d like an Imps win with a few Exeter players getting sent off to boot, wouldn’t be surprised if the visitors get something from this game.

Did our game in the cup at Everton and was very good.
Younger than several of our team

Think it will be tight but potentially losing Moxey from the CB spot could be costly as he’s forged a great partnership with O’Shea recently. Will be surprised if Lee Holmes plays as he struggles with two games in 3 days so I’d expect Wilson to be moved into midfield and Woodman to come in at LB.

Sadly injuries to key players will probably make things hard for us but I feared the worst at Crewe and we got a great win so who knows. Law will be a huge miss too.

Lincoln destroyed us back in August and looked a really good team. They’ll go up for certain but we can certainly get something if we can keep their key players closely marshalled. Andrade is on fire and we know how deadly Akinde can be, so we need to be at our best.

I think it will either be 2-1 to Lincoln or end 1-1. Would be happy with a point.

You need to take a hard look at yourself if you're cheering on Danny Cowleys Lincoln

As feared, no Moxey, Law or Boateng. Aaron Martin back and Jay keeps his place.
Wish I was there but here's to a good game and a point at least

Boateng is on the bench though, which is more than I expected, so overall great news for the rest of the season.

Happy that Aaron Martin is getting his first start since December. Hopefully he will put in a claim for the shirt.

Huge game, can’t wait!

Matt Jay’s on fire! Didn’t see that coming but it was a great free kick to put us 1-0 up at HT.

So far we’ve pressed well and have the pace to hurt Lincoln on the break. A big 45 minutes coming up and we’ll need to weather the Lincoln storm for sure.....UTC(EXETER)

So so gutting to let in a goal with practically the final kick. Lincoln put us under a lot of pressure in the final 30 mins, which we largely dealt with really well.

Bowman missed a sitter which we will now rue. But, overall 4 points from away games at Crewe and Lincoln is really good (especially with so many injuries), but it just feels like a sucker punch at the moment.

Lincoln showed why they will go up and fair play they deserve it. Looks like play offs are our only real hope but a win on Saturday and we begin to look upwards again.

UTC!

Absolutely ridiculous. 4 minutes of injury time and they score in the 6th. Port Vale all over again. Maybe we should go to MOGS.
Proud of the lads. We can still get into the top three

Lincoln do seem to get the bulk of decisions go their way. Maybe the massive attendances they get put a bit of pressure on the ref.

Incredible how these fans of Tranmere, FGR, Swindon seem to think that's a good result when this puts us further ahead of all of them. Hope this will motivate the lads to smash Tranmere on Saturday.
Good that Hiram came on, may be the injury tide is turning!

That's why we didn't get a penalty, strong ref not playing to the crowd
Started OK first 10 minutes but quickly lost our way and basically dared Exeter to knock the ball around us and let them pick up second balls and got deeper and deeper.
Exeter looked decent until we brought Rhead on and despite get his shirt pulled and being held he started winning flick ons that Akinde seemed to thrive off.
Not sure we deserved a point but kept going and create quite a few chances in the last 10-15 minutes including the penalty shout.
Akinde does appear to work well with Rhead likes running through off what the big guys.
Going to have play a lot better and quicker, really slow and ponderous for long spells tonight.

It's quite simple, your keeper was booked for time wasting in injury time after being told the whole game virtually to get on with it, so the ref added time on, then you made a tactical sub in injury time again to waste time. I think if you hadn't made the sub, you would have won the game.

It's hard luck on Exeter because they did a real job on us and yes I keep on saying this, we were crap at SB yet again in front of the home fans.
