Looking forward to this one - actually back in the UK for the weekend so it'll be my first game of the season.

I was quite close to not coming after Tuesday, but my old man knows me too well when I said my doubts, "you'll be there"

Think this will end 1-1 but in typical Aber fashion, an easy cruising victory for the gas 4-1 ;)

No chance we'll keep a clean sheet.
2-1 to the Gas.
Bodin and Gaffers to score.

If Argyle are to drag themselves out of the mire they have got to be taking points off the likes of Bristol Rovers who are a very poor team.

How did your lads get on today m8?

We lost at home by the same margin as when we beat Bristol Rovers on that Rugby pitch earlier in the season...we now are 'only' 4th. We were of a similar standard as Bristol Rovers today.

I think we've not gotten anywhere near to the standards we've can get to so far this season. That being said, it's quite encouraging that we're just four points from playoffs despite our inconsistency.

Today should have been 3 or 4 really, two disallowed goals, some good saves and the woodwork too. I really thought Plymouth were going to right up there at the beginning of the season, but bar a 10 minute spell were we seemed to switch off start of the second half, they looked unimpressive. I wonder if Adams has lost the dressing room as there are some talented players there. They looked less threatening than the L2 team we saw a couple of years ago.

Still worried about or defence - Plymouth had 3 chances all game, one went in. The could have gone 2-1 up right after. And somehow they missed a sitter at the death although it looked miles offside. How the linesman didn't flag for that was unreal.

Apart from the 10 minute wobbly moment I thought we generally dominated. Plymouth are a very poor team. Really they were just dreadful, echoing the comments of Miagsy, they looked better when we met back in L2 a couple of seasons ago.

2-1 really flattered them today, it should have been at least by 3 but simply we weren't good enough in front of goal. Although, I'm almost certain the ball didn't go out of play for the first disallowed goal, I'd like to see that again. The second I didn't really see if it was offside or not, it on reflection it well could have been.

TBH I'm still not happy though, if we were playing a good team, we would have been beaten again today. Still a bloody long season ahead

I moved up to Bristol earlier this year so I've watched the games vs City in the cup (where we were DEMOLISHED 5-0) and then this one today. Pretty sure we've had a total of about 4 shots across those two games.

But yes, we're fucking woeful. Like, it's not even hit and hope we're playing right now, it's just whack it up field where there is no fucking hope, because none of our players are even there... then we just get ready to defend again. Of course, it doesn't exactly help things when you consider the fact that, this early on into the season today was our 5th game of finishing with 10 men, though this sending off seemed to come a lot later in the game than they usually do, so I guess that's... an improvement?

Yes poor result for a team in the play-off places...certainly not a 'cracking win' as one of your more silly types describes it.
