Would get us some points at Eurovision i'm sure.

Personally I think the video is more embarrassing than the song, even if songs like that shouldn't be anywhere near football. Particularly like the completely random rap section at 2:30, comes out of nowhere.

If foreign owners these days are wanting to change the shirt colour, or change the club name, I could get by on an owner that just wants to create a music song/video for the club as there way of personalising it.

Had our fine from our pitch invasion against Bradford last season reduced from £100k to £40k. Though the club still aren't happy: "However, after a total of 16 other celebratory pitch incursions took place at other stadia across the country last season, we were the only club penalised."

No doubt the FA will conveniently fine us £60k for making a bad song to make up for it.

What didn't help that night was some little shit throwing a flare in the Bradford end.

Know someone from my old local back home who got banned after that game, he must be in his 40s.

That’s not factually correct. Aston Villa, for one, were fined £200K last season in the same competition.

Next bit of development at the club is a proposed idea to build on some of the land near the stadium, to try and generate more revenue for the club.

Been talked about for almost a year now, but the club have finally announced their proposal. The area will be called 'Royal Elm Park' and the aim is to have housing for 600 people, a park, restaurants, ice rink and a convention centre for concerts etc.

Possibility of drinking in and around the stadium area? If so, along with the train station that is supposed to be getting built nearby it might actually make the Madejski a viable away day.. (clutching at straws here I know)

Maybe the Bracknell Bees will end up relocating and play at the ice rink. The John Nike centre in Bracknell is a dump and seen better days. The one thing Reading could do with is a bowling alley. Wokingham and Bracknell are the nearest places with one.

Pretty strong West Ham team too; Tomkins, Zarate, Payet, Obiang, Moses, Noble, Antonio, Valencia, Carroll and Jelavic all played

We beat Blackburn 4-0 in a behind closed doors match a few days ago. Doyle hat trick.

Whats the point of a 'behind closed doors' match? Surely a bit of revenue is better than none even if you only charge a quid or so.

**Possibly** there are a lot of minimum requirements wrt stewards, policing, lighting, administration, insurance, etc that mean there is a breakeven. If you are less than a few thousand, I would guess it costs more to administer than you'd get in revenue. Easier and a lot cheaper just to turn on the floodlights, unlock the dressing room door and pay a local plumber to ref the game.

Have you dumped the idea of building recording studios at the ground then?

I wasnt sure where to post this, but Neil Warnock is back at QPR. He has an advisory role with us, so basically Ramseys number 2. Great appointment. We have been saying that CR needs someone with managerial experience next to him, and he has that now.

Any club whose fans belt out that stupid E-I-E-I-E-I-O chant should be expelled from the Football League

Absolute cringe every time I hear it.

I think it's completely justifiable when you're only two months into the season and not even in the play-off positions though.

Will be interesting to see if Birmingham fans are singing it in a couple of months time.
