Corndogggggg

We are second best in this game. Harry came on literally 30 seconds before.

Before our defence lets us down again...

Got outclassed again today I’m afraid. Very lucky to have got it back to 1-1, Birmingham should have been at least 2-0 Before they gave us our goal. The open goal miss was awful from them in particular! .

Had no time in midfield to do anything, Tunnicliffe in particular who with every passing game goes down in my estimation particularly struggled with that although was Pellys error for the first. They just relentlessly pressed us all over the midfield and we couldn’t deal with it. Brown tried his best but there was basically no creativity if it wasn’t through him.

Thought the winner was a pretty blatant foul with their player climbing all over but they probably should have had a penalty earlier on in the half so perhaps it’s a wash

Tunnicliffe is a player who by the end of last season was a 4th choice option in a midfield that nearly went down. Was only ever going to make up the numbers if he went anywhere in this league.

Blackburn's balls shrivelled as soon as we turned it on. Stockley, Browne & Barky stepped up.

More I watch him the more I’m seeing a player who runs around a lot but actually has very little quality on the ball. Think you need more than that to be a starting midfield player at this level. He couldnt deal with being pressed today at all and he’s leaving it up to Pelly to do all the winning the ball back and defensive work and on the other side of things, Brown to do the creating with some input from Pelly again. Just not seeing what he is actually offering at the moment.

I thought Pelly was the worst. Continually gave the ball away and often as last midfielder. We just werent at the races but i still thought having weathered the dodgy patch Blues were there for the taking. They pressed well but when we bypassed it we just looked clueless rather than our normal cutting self. They had no better quality than us.

Off day all round and desperately shy of leadingman forwards when Collo is injured, suspended or dropped.

Edit. Luke Bolton. Bye bye. Thought he might have learned to lessen his defensive howlers by now to outweigh his attacking pluses but he hasnt and hes good for a goal against most games. Today pen somehow missed by the ref.

Just watched our highlights and fuck me I like McGeehan but that’s now 3 absolute sitters he’s missed in last two games, I’m not even joking when I say I could have put all three away.

Pelly at least provided some decent forward passes to unleash Brown and when he came on Cornick. He was poor today no doubt, but at least he tried things.

I love Pelly but he tries too much fancy shit when hes the last man in midfield and being pressed. He has opportunity to lay it back or pixk a pass and tries to beat a man or a nutmeg.

In poessession we look naive at times in several spots. But i think we got enough about us to tighten up and be competitive against the average Champ sides and get points

Looked like that one today bounced in front of him just as he was was about to strike it.

Proper chuffed with our result and performance yesterday.

Good game between two good teams, it’s an absolute joy watching this team match up against these multi million pound sides.

Him and his embarrassing barnet have cost us points yesterday and at home to Swansea.

We deserved nothing yesterday. Which is depressing as Huddersfield were absolutely bog standard, WBA looked a much better team Tuesday yet we got a point from that one. Two lapses in concentration cost us but we never really looked like getting back into it even after making it 2-1. Even after looking more solid defensively we still end up conceding stupid goals and don't do the basics right going forward. We're this year's Rotherham.

I can't say we deserved that point tbh, Wigan were the better side.
Our injuries are really starting to bite and it's showing.
We got away with one today.

A few weeks ago people were moaning about Izzy Brown. He has 5 assists in his last 6 games and the most in the Championship!

Was being played in the wrong position and asked to do much defensive work, which is quite clearly not his game. This was most notable at QPR.

Been put in a more advanced role since then and has been brilliant.
