Hello and stuff

Hi. I'm new to this forum, but a long time contributor to many others. Some may even recognise my name as I've been around on Football League and Non League boards for quite some time.

I follow the mostly terrible York City FC, and during my 24 years following them, I've seen us play at Old Trafford, Goodison Park, Maine Road, and now at Bradford Park Avenue and Nuneaton.

York City? The famous Minstermen? A shame that they are out of the Football League now. I've visited Bootham Crescent (do you still play there?) in 98/99 during an old Division 2 match against Notts County. I just checked my matchday programmes and found it. Memories...

I'm pinching posters from there in pm's, expect to see me banned soon He won't believe the difference in Non League posters on here compared to 1FF as 3 on there is considered big enough for a rave rocknrollnobody will be in his element on here being able to converse with like minded fans he'll bollock me for not letting him know about this site before.

We do indeed still play at Bootham Crescent, but only for two more seasons. We have a new ground being built on the outskirts of town, which is dividing fans quite sharply.
Unfortunately I cannot return the experience of visiting Hamburg for a match, as I only went through their on the train once in 2007, and it was raining very heavily, so didn't stick around! I ate an excellent currywurst in the train station though. So congratulations on that.

The 1FF forums are definitely dying outside the Champ forum. There's not enough interaction with eachother, and the merge has just made that worse. Feels like anything below the Champ just isn't worth bothering with.
