I love how the closing summary on our game is "the serial giant killers have taken another big scalp". We're in the same league ffs, condescending much?

The highlights show didn't actually broadcast as advertised on BT last night as it goes, the tennis overran and in the remaining time they just put some classic Serie A goals on instead!

Some of that camerawork should be in the tinpot thread.
Also, Richard Hill saying the same sentence twice, but with different intonation. I wonder if he still thinks they're the biggest team in non-league (after Billericay of course).

Each time I watch our goal I am more convinced that Allen is actually onside when the ball is played

Anyone know where the North and South highlight shows are?

EDIT - And I'm assuming the National League midweek show will be on a Thursday?

They didn't do midweek ones before as it's all filmed by students and they can't guarantee they'd have evenings free. Be surprised if that's changed.

Cheers, hardly any on there!

For the North or South?

Sure I read the National League are doing midweek shows now?

The National League one. Hadn't seen that but maybe they are. The reason they didn't before was because students were doing it, it's the same reason they didn't do Boxing Day games and New Years day games.

Ashmore - fantastic. Some of his saves were unreal.

Powell's free kick was top notch, especially as it was his first touch after coming on.

Ferrier's goal, unbelievable. Not sure I'll see a better goal all season.

Daggers defending for our third wouldn't look out of place in a primary school match.

Ahh, this is where the midweek highlights are!

As above, I thought BT were doing a midweek show, but they're obviously just being updated in here.

Not sure if it's the same with other clubs, but I'm getting a bit annoyed with these highlights. Glad to see them, but 2 of our 4 sets have had no sound; Maidstone at home and Dagenham away. Think Maidstone at Orient had no sound as well.

Your keeper was good. Very athletic, even though from a distance he looked a little like Hope Solo. Cracking save when it was 3-2 from close range. That goes in and we win the game.

I can't believe our defending for the 2nd and 3rd to be honest. Although you played some good stuff, we should have been far more ruthless in killing the game than we were.

You'll do well this season though. You'll score goals and if you can sort out the defence, you'll be a play off side.

Yeah, that point blank save was excellent. We'll be fending off offers for him in January I reckon.

Sounded like we could have even won it. That's twice in a week now we've come from two behind, we need to stop giving the opposition head starts.

The problem we had yesterday was Mambo was making his first start since December 2016 and Magri played right back all last season for Dover. McMahon is now predicting Winfield could be out for up to six months. We definitely need somebody else in.

I think we'll be alright. Maybe not play offs, but definitely top half.
