We never win when I make a match thread so that's promising.

Got to be going here with confidence, got that long-awaited clean sheet under our belt and we've had no problem scoring goals recently. A draw wouldn't be a disaster but it be a very nice 3pts if we can get them. A loss would be a massive kick in the balls and kill any optimism the Wigan result created.

No Pearson, which is said far too much so you would think Ledson would come in, as a combo of DJ & Gallagher just seems a bit soft for an away match.

Bench Maguire, save him as a super sub, he always seems to make something happen off the bench and the front three deserve to keep their place.

Maxwell
Fisher, Clarke, Storey, Hughes
Ledson, Johnson
Barkhuizen, Browne, Robinson
Nmecha

Rudd, Earl, Davies, Gallagher, Barker, Moult, Maguire
Win fuckers.

Going to this, £12 a ticket is class. Reckon we’ll win.

I've already got plans or else i'd be all over this, even though Hull is a fucking nightmare to get to.

North End fans giving Alex Neil shit for constantly changing the defence, then calling for Huntington or Davies to come back into the team after we've finally kept a clean sheet.... fuck em.

Dead easy on the train isn’t it? Bit out of the way but was fairly straight forward last season, think we changed at Sheffield on the way up and Doncaster on the way back.

Just looked and there's a direct one from Piccadilly, swear that never used to be the case.

3 hours from Preston, not too bad.

Will settle for playing shit and scraping a point.

Always tougher without Pearson and it seems that AN's pre-match plans were ripped to pieces with knocks to Clarke and Barkhuizen and Robinson being ill.

King Louis delivering the goods.

Reckon Pearson’s going to be up for grabs in January? Would love a midfielder like him, we’ve not had one for years and years.

Not unless someone is paying an insane amount of money for someone who doesn't score and has a terrible disciplinary record. Our price tag in the summer scared off Stoke by all accounts.

Contracted till 2021.

7.5m would probably be fair from a buyers point of view, would understand you asking for more though. I’d love him here but doubt we’d meet your asking price for the reasons you gave.

You'd have to double it at least I reckon before we'd even consider. I wouldn't trade him for any other midfielder in this league.

The club value him at £20m, crazy but you won’t be getting him for less

Until he kicks up a fuss that is.

Hugill did and we didn't budge until we were offered crazy money.

If he leaves then I don't think it will be to a club in this league, those Burnley twats are the ones who worry me.

Let’s be right if he wants to move which I’m sure he will do if you don’t challenge this season, and is causing bother you’d cash for less than £20m.

He doesn't strike me as that sort of character off the pitch, very grounded.

If a Prem club offers us an amount we're happy with then we will let him go but i'd be amazed if we lowered our price for anyone in this division, just like Hugill.

£15m from a Prem club would probably do it but remains to be seen whether anyone would offer that for a player of his type. Good enough for the league above, only a matter of time before he ends up there.

yeah just to clarify I’m not on about if it was us or any other club in this division, there’s a decent chance he’ll end up in the PL.

Grounded or not, if you or anyone else had the chance to quadruple your wage and play at a higher level you’d push for it.

Yeah, no doubt he'd be putting his agent to work but I don't think he's one to disrupt the squad or refuse to play or anything.

If he curbs the yellow cards and maintains his performances then i'm sure we'll be getting enquiries from clubs like Burnley, Huddersfield etc. Makes it more annoying that we didn't invest the Hugill money in the summer and try to kick on, as it increases the chance of the squad getting picked apart.
