Weird reaction. I understand the feeling of wanting to defend your own players, but Neves went down every opportunity he got. He milked every challenge. In the first half, having just dived in recklessly to win the ball and being clattered by our player in the process who had to leap over his wild challenge, he stayed down for a good couple of minutes, struggled to carry his war-torn body off the pitch, only to return to action 20 seconds later with a sprint and spring in his step.

My point is merely this: he's an incredible player. Why does he need to resort to such spoiling tactics when he clearly doesn't need them?

For what it's worth your penalty was one of the softest I've ever seen. I would have been fuming if it had been worth anything more than a consolation goal.

Jordan Graham is bad for diving too. Not seen anyone else mention it about Neves other than Hull fans so wonder if it was due to killing the game, even from early on.

Either way I hate it. Its for c*** like that c*** Forrsteri.

Can't say I've watched it again, but I was surprised it was given at the time.

Not weird, just ironic. You saying he cheated doesn't make it so.
Neves went down four times in the game, each time after being hit, three times clearly in the face (once accidentally - by Clucas early on). Yet Dawson clearly was mouthing off at him even in that first incident, as he was at the iat the very end when Clark shouldered Neves in the face. Dawson should stick to being his club captain and being a mediocre centre-half and let the referee worry about disciplinary matters. Same for McGregor.

Your statements about "milking every challenge in the first half" is demonstrably wrong. He went down three times in the first half, once from that Clucas collision, once from a collision from Campbell (Neves didn't bat an eyelid at that challenge; would have been easy to make a meal of it) and then when Campbell ran through him and smacked Neves in the face in the 45th minute. You want players to stop clutching their face in pain, stop fucking hitting them in the face. Personally, I think it was a deliberate ploy by your players to get him in trouble.
You might want to watch your comical description of the challenge on TV where the culprit is very, very clear. And it in't Neves.

If you want to talk about cheating, perhaps you might want to ponder why, after Boly kicked the ball out of play when Hernandez went down in the first half, did Hull not return the ball to Wolves? Why did Diomande keep ("constantly") shoving players in the back? Or perhaps Campbell's agonising hobbling around after Saiss's heavy tackle and then sprinting away. Staggering recovery. Impressed.

I have regularly called out cheating and have criticised both Afobe and Dicko for appearing to dive. So no, I'm not "defending my own players". You just don't see your own bias.

fwiw, I believe Jota should have been penalised for his high-foot clearance and then a cynical foul a minute after on Aina. But then I believe Dawson should have got a yellow card for the behaviour in the first half, and both Diomande and Campbell were lucky to escape yellow cards for some of their behaviour.

My point is this. He didn't use spoiling tactics. He just played well and put up with some wild challenges and an unlucky collision early on with Clark.

Graham and Afobe both have a habit of it. Forestieri's is the worst I have ever seen.

Nah. Thommo was defending Doherty on the commentary but it was fairly clear, IMHO. However, there were several challenges on Jota that went unpunished, although later on he was the one getting away with murder (on Aina in particular)

You're right, it is wrong. Largely because I said he milked every challenge, not just in the first half. Which he did. He didn't get kicked in the face by Campbell, I suggest you watch that again. He didn't get "shouldered" by Max Clark; Clark won the ball cleanly without the slightest hint of a foul. He milked everything. But whatever, I'm wrong and he's a shining example of professionalism

As for us not giving the ball back, blame your centre-half for playing on and cocking up his pass. There's no way he put that out of play on purpose. And Saiss should've been booked for scything down Jarrod Bowen shortly after. That would've made his later yellow a sending off :pond:

Forestieri's reputation goes before him. He got absolutely smashed by Dawson at our place a couple of years ago. A clear foul. The ref books Forestieri instead for diving. It was his second yellow too

Utter rubbish. I did watch it again. You're just biased.
Anyway, we're not going to agree on this, so my last words.

Funny that Boly didn't 'mess up' a single pass all evening but that one, eh? Messed up so bad he booted it into the middle of the stand. Dreadful pass.

I look forward to how you rubbish other players this season. As I said before, you probably had good reason with Jota who escaped several reckless situations.

And this is why I struggle to see your reaction to my comments. Had I rubbished the player, fair enough, but I've literally said how fantastic he is aside from his play-acting.

LOL. You're using a video of Campbell stamping on Neves hand and the side of his leg hitting his face as proof of your argument? ffs :ffs:

There is no contact in that video that warrants his rolling about on the floor clutching his face.
