If you could sign one Championship player, who would it be?

If they opened the window for one day, who would you sign right now to "complete" your team? (Or start it, in Sunderland's case)

For me, Ollie Watkins: even before last night's performance he has looked sharp. But I'd happily steal Maupay as well.

Reckon Brentford could creep into the play-offs, too.

Don't think Maupay's set the world alight has he? Was playing second fiddle to Vibe when he was fit.

I'd have Diogo Jota currently but for resale valu Neves.

Probably Bobby Reid, seems a natural finisher and would suit our pressing game.

Ben Pearson in midfield at Preston is one I'd like us to look at this summer, a position in which (Cook aside) we need fresh blood. Ready made or proven PL players are hard for us to get but he would seem to fit the mould.

James Maddison, think we will go for him in the summer, but not for the £30m Norwich supposedly want.

Ryan Sessegnon. He's quality and we're light on the left in just that.

It would have to be Neves or either of the Jotas - though I'd also be quite keen on Diedhou, he'd probably offer us the best upgrade up front.

I really wouldn't take anyone in the division over Maddison. Talk round here is that a deal with Spurs for around £25m is all but agreed for the summer. Not sure if he's quite that good but he's certainly ready to be playing regularly in the Prem.

What we really need is a striker but I can't say I think any are showing themselves to be exceptional this year so if I could sign anyone it would be Ryan Sessegnon.

Kev just has to support all Leeds’ opponents, and they’re in for a fantastic end to the season!

Not in this league, but Wigan's Sam Morsy would be the difference for us. I've wanted us to sign him since his Chesterfield days. Now that he's found his form again he's unfortunately well out of our price-range.

He would, signing our ex players seems to has worked a treat for you so far.

Would love to see him back here. He was as big a loss for us last January as Hourihane, Winnall and Bree.

So being in 14th position and it NOT being the players suggests it's...ummmm....the pitches? the weather? You really think there's no player from the 13 sides above you that might improve your position?

TBF, This joke was old back when Millwall fans would joke about Jackett trying to sign every ex-player or former target for Wolves.

That's not what I said. I said there was no striker that looked exceptional this season. There are plenty that would improve us but if it's a sign anyone then I'd not go for any of the strikers.

Ah. Well you didn't do too badly last night, either, so maybe there's something in it after all!
