This is the new audio/visual platform for most of the EFL.

First impressions of the matchday experience.

No commentary for overseas viewers.

Audio commentary for UK users didn't kick in until way after kick-off - just before Scunthorpe's goal for us Wimbledon supporters.

Many. many supporters having log in issues with password reset emails taking up to an hour to arrive.

Overseas users not being allowed to view the match despite having paid and having a valid login.

Hopefully things will improve.

As posted in the L2 thread;

I use NordVPN (yearly sub) and have a bog standard £4.49 sub for Ifollow Ipswich - which was originally an ipswich player subscription that they converted automatically. Providing I select an international IP, I can stream the game (I don't think they are aware of this), as I did today. Quality was excellent, though my internet is pretty much the best fibre you can get and NordVPN is paid for.

For what it's worth, I didn't miss the commentary too much (I usually listen to the games but not too concerned if I'm watching it).

Either way, the reason there is no commentary on the stream for 'overseas' viewers is because the visual platform is not directly linked with the the radio streams (IE BBC Radio Suffolk in the case of Ipswich) - meaning the audio and visual components will almost certainly have some kind of delay between the two.

Just registered and looking forward to trying it out. I'm not fussed about the commentary really, as long as I can hear the crowd. Apparently it'd down to the club to have someone commentating on the stream (or not). I am fussed that I could have just watched the stream on my old, cheaper subscription (although they'll no doubt wise up to it soon enough!).

I had no problems logging in from 'Seattle' and watching Swindon fuck over Carlisle in a 2-1 drubbing.

Excellent service. Approx a 3 min time lag but it beats driving to Scotland.

Has iFollow gone tits up for those using a VPN? When I log on now the subscribe options disappear. They are only there if I log on without the VPN and not sign in.

Any clues?

Glad we binned this off and did our own thing. Derby's service has been outstanding.

We have a proper studio analysis team and full commentary, as well as a preview show on the Friday, and a review show on the Monday. Not sure if we still get the previews/reviews for midweek games. The preview and review shows are free for everyone both here and overseas.

They also stream every single U21 game with commentary (except Chelsea away as they wouldn't allow it) for free. U18 games are coming soon too apparently.
