Comedy show. No positives really other than Sears banging a couple in. League one bound certainty. I dread to think of the attendances next season.

What an absolute shocker that was (watched it on the red button although I did think about turning over to the Villa v Forest game at one point).
I'm sorry Tractor boys but you are really bad. We're shit yet you are actually worse and I didn't think that was possible in the Championship.
Am I happy we won? I'm really not sure, for which I feel really guilty, as we're gonna be stuck with the ego as head coach for longer now which can't be good.
We were bloody awful, yet again.
Renew in Jan / Feb? After 44 seasons, fook that with this loser in charge. I can hardly be arsed now and I've already paid.
I have no doubt Ipswich are heading down but hopefully they can regroup in L1 and come back stronger as they're a fine club.
Why are you so anti Johnson? What did you expect of the season?

Im very disappointed that he continues the streaks and I dont often agree with his selections but we are slap bang midtable with pretty much same amount of wins as loses. 12th highest attendances, 14th in the league, that is not a sackable offence!

There is no chance of relegation despite what the bedwetters on OTIB think.
Strikes me that an element of the City support are replicating exactly what Ipswich fans did to McCarthy, hounding him out for being midtable. Yes Johnson has more resources and we should realistically be aiming a few places higher in the league but most of the teams above us have more clout.
What do you expect?

A lot of our fans got it in their heads early on that Weimann was better than Reid, that Kalas is the best centre back in the clubs history (genuinely) and that both he and Webster are far superior to Flint. Probably partly the reason they can’t fathom why we’re “only” 14th after perceiving our squad to be strengthened when in reality it was weakened considerably.

The worry is that we’ll go on a huge winless run but hopefully last night has stopped the rot and we currently sit exactly where we should be. Win against Millwall and we’ll be top half again, just hope the fans get behind them and don’t turn into spoilt booing brats if we aren’t winning at half time like they have done many a time this season.

Never known a group of fans outside of East Anglia to have a gripe with us so it’s quite amusing really although Brentford did briefly when they were crying every game over Hyam.
Quite funny really considering both are basically lower championship even league one clubs at heart

Before I dig any further, how big was Ashton Gate before the redevelopment?

I just think we could get a lot better TTOCS plus there are times when it appears that he really doesn't know what he's doing.
Yes, where we are currently in the league is about right but the losing runs, constant tinkering, style of play (rather the lack of it), bemusing tactics and comments make me feel he's had his time. He's also spent vastly more than any other coach in our history.
I just feel it's time for a change. I'm not anti Lee Johnson the man, as I don't know him but I would like to see him replaced as our head coach.
The fear of yet another losing streak, with him unable to break it, is always at the back of my mind as well. He's done it consistently both with us, Barnsley and at Oldham and that is something we cannot afford this season.
It's a game of opinions, I respect yours but have my own too.

League one club at heart? You haven’t been in the 3rd tier since 1957.

Precisely, we’re a mid second tier club and have been for over half a century. Whereas yourself and Brentford are lower second tier top third tier

Our fans definitely prefer Webster to Flint still. He’s been okay but I’d rather have Flint’s qualities as a CB than Webster’s.

Hardly an outrageous shout to want Johnson out Aaron, just because you expect us to be mediocre after spending a shit load of money doesn’t mean we should accept it. Our record this calendar year is 10-12-19 and for half of that we had Flint Bryan and Reid, makes you think...

Do your research, Brentford have spent more time in L2 than they have the Championship, they’re a middling third tier side.

Webster is better than Flint at defending, hence our current goals conceded per game (sample 19 games) being significantly better than any other Championship season this decade.

It's Reid we miss, if we had him we'd be gunning for play offs again.

About 13,000 with 84 travelling down from Fleetwood, its great, you’ll absolutely love it.

You can even fetch up to 1,500 for a Checkatrade game on a Tuesday night. Can really be a cracking atmosphere when Swansea u21s bring their 10s of fans.

What's outrageous is wanting our team to lose, in the hope that we sack our manager in doing so. Not just here, seen it from several people. Fucking embarrassing

What's outrageous is our fans criticizing the Ipswich fans for wanting there manager sacked for floating around mid table, then the same people doing the same about our fucking manager!

And Webster's ability as a defender pissed all over flints imo.. aerially flint will be better than anyone in this division, but all round defending... definitely Webster for me.

Webster has never played for Boro to compare like for like, as far as Im aware
Give it up, there’s a reason Flint has started every game for the best defensive side in the league. If Webster was better than Flint Boro would’ve signed Webster.

Also the point on our fans moaning about LJ but criticising Ipswich fans for moaning about McCarthy is ridiculous, McCarthy didn’t spend anything like 40m at Ipswich, didn’t go on ridiculous losing runs etc — the only issue was that he played a “poor” brand of football... Lee Johnson’s sides serve up some absolute shite as well.

Give over Scott you’re really chatting out your arse here. He isn’t good enough to get anywhere near that Boro defence, that’s why.

Our goals conceded column has barely even improved either, 23 conceded this season in 19 games, extrapolate that over 46 and we’re currently on course to concede 56 goals, a whopping 2 less than we conceded last season. Then if you factor in that 8 of those goals were conceded in the final 3 games when there was nothing to play for then your argument holds no real value does it?

There’s also 4 other men in those defences that have an affect on the goals conceded that you’re seemingly discounting from your comparisons, and our full backs, particularly left sided, are far stronger this season.

We quite clearly dont miss Flint defensively, our defence is better in an overall worse team! I said it would be when he left and I'm proven right so far. Johnson also knew it would be because he mentioned that Flint was statistically our worst defender.

Jordan, how many teams above us have spent less than us in the last 3 seasons?? 4? Again not a sackable offence particularly as we could be above 3 of them by the weekend.

Can't wait for the away day at Swansea U-21's next week.

Cold December Tuesday nights against the Swansea youth are known to be some of the best around Europe

4? Fuck right off are you having a laugh...

Off the top of my head — Blackburn, Wigan, Bolton, Millwall, Sheffield United, Leeds, Preston, Brentford, Rotherham, Ipswich.... none of the them have spent anything like the near on 40m Johnson has spent since he come through the door, you’ve been sucked in by the bollocks him, Lansdown and Ashton always spout to downplay our chances.

Flint looked an absolute mule again on Tuesday night, any tall fucker could do a job in that Boro team with the way Pulis sets up.
