Had a BBQ on Saturday, said I'd be home and tucked up in bed by 1 at the latest cos I had a massive sesh planned for Sunday. Obviously I ended up in town and then went back to my mates and watched the fight. Got about two hours sleep then went out again to watch us play Sheff U, supped all day, finished at about 6 in the morning after a brilliant night at Magna raving my twat off. I am not moving an inch today. Can't even be arsed to have a hungover wank.

(Sorry I know I'm not Kev)

Notts last night has killed me. 1 or 2 Notre fans tried after seeing I was a Stage fan too but ended having a decent drink with them. The Blue bell was incredible

out tonight for the major bank holiday bonanza's! always seems to be power drinkers and knuckledraggers on these weekends though, so the Kev and his chums will be keeping their cool until after their 10th shot, after which the Kev will be going around chasing shadows and dancing smoothly to that girl that looks like she is lonely and on her own, but is actually with her 6ft 6 military boyfriend, the Kev will have to moonwalk away all casual like

top top night, forgot the Leeds Festival was on in town too, which added to the quality night out, no idea why but i had 2 requests for a photo from 2 different girls, think they were from the same group, they were fascinated with my new t-shirt :hypo:

also why i continue to buy a disgusting mcdonalds during a night out i will never know, i only really like Burger King when i'm sober and that is rare, so i bought 2 cheeseburgers, ate half of one before binning it, then i gave my other one to a homeless man, that looked delighted, my good deed of the night, top banter with 2 Burnley fans in a club

one of the best nights out in a long time, Leeds is great when it wants to be

Haven't eaten a McDonalds in ages. Was at a barbecue last night if I may crash this thread. Was alright.

i miss the days of Pontoonlew, Mankytoes and all the other real LADS , where are you all? please don't tell me you've all been settle down and are now happy supping tea and watching Britains Got Talent on a Friday and Saturday night, in your onesies?

Anyway, decided to finish work 2 hours earlier today, drove to a local pub near me "The Barley Mow" had a few quiet drinks with a mate of mine, who's a bit susceptible to top nights out, 4 pints later, he drops this line "Fuck it let's go out into Leeds tonight mate"

knowing me full well, i put in some resistance (having a quite large bill to pay off this week), he then plants the applecart and replies with "A couple of birds from my work are meeting me in Yates, one's a red"

so my kryptonite was in the last sentence, i'm now heading into leeds in a couple of hours, hoping this red head is not only beautiful but kind of intelligent (not too intelligent ffs)

It's only when you start a conversation with them and you find common ground she pulls out the boyfriend card :(

please note, the car is safely parked up, and a good mate of mine who is currently sober is driving it back into my driveway, the Kev doesn't condone unsafe driving

I'm OUT tomorrow. Big one. A slight novelty in the fact that now my little sis is 18 it'll be the first time I've ever been out in town at the same time as her.

It's just not the same is it anymore? At college and Uni I remember stumbling home at 5 and being up before lunch - now it feels like anything more than a few doubles and a 2am taxi back and the next day is a write-off (been months since I last went out for this very reason). I'm not even 23 ffs, this isn't how it's supposed to work.

Anyway, I shall report back, most likely with a really boring report like the ones I'm seeing from Kev. I guess Kev is just living proof that eventually all your heroes get old and boring.

I think you should ask your sister to hit you in the balls real hard, y'know, to check if they're still there. 23 was each with their own zubrowska after downing a 6-pack and happy and jolly the next midday.
Had a very, very rare night out in Paris which I really hate. A friend took me and it took us 40 minutes to find a parking place. Course the bar (which was not very big) couldn't take credit cards as the machine was broken but the pint of Carlsberg was only 6€ which is pretty good (they go up to 10 in most trendy places in Paris). We then went to a nightclub called Memphis which was very hot but the women were not and the bouncers wouldn't let you out to have your fag. Got in at 5am eating a kebab and up at 10.
I'm having barbecue fish for lunch and then it's up to a shit place called Sceaux where we're having a surprise party. So basically we're gonna start drinking at 4.

Quality night out, we ended up leaving the lasses around 9pm as they wanted to go to Tiger Tiger (no thanks) and we ended up going to Hedley Verity, where we ended up buying 5 jaegers each and formed some kind of weird drinking game with some lads from Harrogate, needless to say i felt ill pretty much instantly but managed to keep it all in

Usually we wouldn't leave ladies on a night out, but i just didn't get a good enough vibe from the Wakey lass, although she and her mate were a good laugh, but any bird that turns down shots that are not only free but fucking brilliant, obviously isn't gonna be blowing my bubble later on

After Hedley Verity or Lloyds bar if you prefer, we ended up back in top end Yates's, pretty rammed out, my mate fell onto a lass sat in a booth, which ended up being a top draw accident as we joined a large group of women in their mid 30's, the drinks were flowing, I'm starting to feel it in my old age, ended up dancing with this lass i can't remember much about, then rudely awaken at 2am sleeping in the booth , no idea where my mate had gone

falling asleep isn't good, i feel ashamed, luckily i still had all my cash and phone etc, them 4 early pints killed me off!

see you next week, Kevin is too hungover to hit town tonight

I'm going to nick that post for teaching my students the meaning of "to end up doing something". Six times in about 100 words is impressive.

Match Report.

Got to my mate's house, oh dear, a few of his nobhead Uni friends have shown up. Me and another mate decide to get the boxing on the TV via laptop whilst they're mucking around in the kitchen and we sit with a few beers watching the end of the Mitchell fight, the Joshua demolition job and the first 4 rounds of Brook/Gavin. I play about on my phone and twitter for a bit cos I'm just desperate to get into town at this point where we're meeting up with a couple of old school mates who work Saturdays. Got to Forum by which time I'm sober and playing on my phone waiting for the people I actually like to turn up. Then the night kicks off! talking to a couple of girls I haven't seen since college about life and what we're up to (incredible banter flowing as you can imagine...'yeah, so did a placement year and then decided to...').

Had a few drinks finally and had a decent night overall, mainly because one of my best mates from school is back after spending 2 years in China and it's the first time I've seen him (he now has a beard and speaks Mandarin). Got back for about 2.30-3.00 with some cheesy chips, woke up 11ish and went to Trent Bridge for the T20, couple of pints, Notts won, job done.

TL;dr - No banter, No #LADantics, not a Lashtronaut. Just a very grown up evening.

Went out on Friday night for the first time in weeks. I still have an exam left but a couple of mates were pre-drinking in the flat and just thought fuck it. Definitely needed to blow away the cobwebs because I got very drunk and had a pretty bad hangover (for me...normally I'm alright) so hopefully next time I'll hack it better :D

I went out on Friday to Farringdon....very classy are imo...no Yates or tiger tiger. Ended up I'm some Moroccan bar with a few mates and their Spanish cousins. All in all a quiet night.

Next Friday though....leaving drinks for someone I don't really speak to at work. 12 plumbers in Shoreditch drinking from 4:30....The potential is pretty scary.

Forum is alright though, better than Rock City anyway where my sister ended up.

I can't stand the place personally, it's like Coco Tang. People think it's classy when in reality it's over priced and shit. My favourite jaunts are; Rock City, Rescue Rooms & Bodega. Spanky's can be alright, really want to go to Filthy's.

Best nights in Notts I've done have been pub crawls but my flatmates were always dragging me to Oceana/Ocean. Next year will be better as 4 of my closest friends/Housemates are obsessed with pubs so doubt I'll end up at clubs too often.

Let down by the absence of ending up doing anything. Kev would have ended up putting at least twenty in that story.

Forum is not too bad 'cheap and cheerful' springs to mind.

My last night in Nottingham I spent most of the night in the casino before going to Forum, our lot got kicked out then finished the night at Stealth.

Not visited Blue Bell for ages.

I went to the Blue Bell on my one night out in Nottingham 3 years ago (was celebrating a friends 21st who's from the city), I just remember struggling to navigate through the place due to it being packed full of punters. Went to Hooters, Bar Circle, Blue Bell, Oceana and the Casino in that order. Decent night, Oceana tried it's best to ruin it but I was so inebriated that I didn't really care.

I'm going for a few drinks in and around Liverpool Street in a couple of weeks and knowing me it's highly likely as a group we'll end up in Farringdon. I'll report back if anything interesting happened.
