The first of the battle of the Rovers ties, a little mini league between the 3 teams. From our part at Donny we will welcome back 5 of the players missing from midweek. Coppinger and Blair both rested, Wiiliams (hamstring) Mandeville (bruising) both recovered and Ben Khemis finally receiving International clearance. This should make our bench far stronger and give Fergie better options.
I would gladly take a point but can see us losing in a high scoring game.

I'm thinking lots of goals too, think we've been very open previous 2 games, new striker on the books today which will hopefully be a decent signing.

Your bringing a decent following tomorrow I believe, between 1200 and 1500 expected, you've not done so bad over the last decade few promotions and decent stadium, quite a good pub team I'd say.

I went to the Keepmoat last weekend and you looked like a solid side but couldn't finish in a brothel. Predicting a tough test in this one.

Gills keeper had a good game but I would agree that we create plenty but don't have that natural finisher

Well done donny, played like a team, we look awful, thought bookies were never wrong, I'm afraid we look like a bottom half team. Richie Smallwood got some stick from Rotherham fans, looked like the only player interested. No chance of promotion on that showing.

Certainly a somewhat surprising result, Blackburn can only improve, got one eye on our match with you early September ! Would put this as the best away result of today ( well after us of course )

Dodgy penalty decision from where I was, gifted them the other 2 goals; absolute shambles. How anyone still thinks we'll go up after that I'll never know.

    What a surprise.

Turns out Blackburn are shit and are finding this division harder than they thought.

Certainly an eye opener but in our defence how dare Southend and donny attack us your meant to sit back and be in awe to give us confidence. League 1 bullies, I'll tell my mum

Predicted Blackburn to struggle mid table and it looks like i could be right but it's still early days yet. They have a top 3 side on paper in this league but they are similar to Charlton with terrible owners with bad relationship with the fans and a shit for brains manager to top.

I thought Blackburn were the better team for the first 25 mins but then we got going and ended the first half strongly. Then came out 2nd half and punished your mistakes and bossed the game.... I agree the pen looked soft but we should of scored a couple more if we had taken our chances... i thought for the supposedly strongest side in the league, you set up very defensive and looked to have 10 men behind the ball for most of the game, and Danny graham is stealing a living.

Not sure how you've taken this as a dig at Doncaster.

I'm referring to the fact that a team people thought would walk it are 2 defeats from 2.

With another 44 games left. Sheffield United lost 3 of their first 4 last season.

Never thought for a moment that we'd piss this league, but neither did I think we'd be that shite aswell.
    Credit to Doncaster well deserved.
Not sure we're we go from that dire performance, l'm off to Bradford next week but can't see anything other than another defeat.
