 Wigan.

Look like two cracking followings from Rovers and Plymouth, two proper clubs.

Plymouth was another superb following.

Are you seriously comparing Wigan to Gillingham. To Shrewsbury to Bristol?

A good 5 hour drive 500 mile journey compared to a 260 mile journey. Bristol to Carlisle would have been a similar comparison.

That being said Bristol Rovers have better away support than Bristol City.

You were top of the league, your journey was about 100-150 miles more as a round trip and you couldn't even get half of their effort at Shrewsbury, and they've been naff away for two seasons. Your away support is wank and always has been, Rovers are averaging more than you away from home this season

And that's some poor bait "Northernsoul", they're already barely averaging half of what we are currently.

500-260 is substantially more than 100-150.

Our away following will rise once we get some local fixtures in. In the 7 so far we've had 4 long distance trips (2 on a Tuesday night), 2 with a 3-4 hour round journey and then 1 local game.

Rovers brought around 100 less than City for a September game than City did for a crunch end of season relegation battle. You brought less than 1,000. We actually took a few hundred more to your place.

It's actually a 258 mile round trip from Bristol to Shrewsbury, and a 424 mile round trip from Wigan to Gillingham, doesn't excuse you taking less than half of what they did.

Rovers had never played at the DW and didn't go into the game after one win in four months. You played us at AG on the opening day and only brought down 1,200, we had 1,450 up at Sheffield on the opening day for our first game back in the championship at £40 a pop. Loads that were planning to go fucked it off, me included.

Millers OS reporting 500 left of the original allocation of 2500 for the Keepmoat.
With 3 weeks to go I would hope will sell enough to apply for the extra allocation.

It's a while since we played one another in the league, so as long as both teams do average to ok in the meantime, we should both sell enough to create a decent atmosphere.

Our average will begin to drop a little now as we haven't really got a close match until a Feb and then we have the likes of Blackburn, Wigan, Rochdale and Bury consecutively.

If it wasn’t on tv I think you would have sold the full 4,200 not sure we will give you that many now.

Agree about the TV, that and the early kick off might put a few off.
To me it simplifies things, call for a pint on the way there and straight back to Rotherham for a drink.
Then home to watch it again, unless we lose obviously, then it gets deleted.

Think we'll sell that allocation no problem, I haven't got my ticket yet and so will alot of other people as well and with more than 3 weeks away then i would be surprised if we didn't shift another 1000 at least.

What allocation will we get for the return fixture?

You will only get 2.6k max unfortunately. There's also a chance you might only get 1.2k as well with half away open to Rotherham fans if home tickets sell well but I can't see that happening tbh.

Gillingham have kindly allowed our fans into the covered stand along the side of the pitch, and not stuck in a golf stand while storm brian goes to work

2,100 Wigan at Blackpool. With a whole host in the home end and about 1,000 empty seats not for sale in the away end, total and utter shambles. Why don't the Blackpool owners just sell the club?

Bit poor considering you're a massive club according to SERNWA. :fish:

Think the weather warnings didn't help any followings today for people who normally pay on the day which was the reason why i couldn't be arsed today.

It'll be a low following from us for Oldham on Tuesday where we'll lose again.

You should be happy. I’m still drenched. Rochdale next and it pissed down all day last time we went there too.

Don't think we have ever gotten close to the 690+ we took to MK today.

Bet almost all those was bought well in advance though but not bad following. MK Dons always seem to be well visited place which i can never understand, we took 3k there last time in the championship i wouldn't surprise me if we fetch over 1k this time even though it's over 200 mile round journey.
