It's probably for the best we steer clear of the Championship one, 300 fans at Ipswich/Norwich/Leeds etc. for us...

Lots of Rotherham fans buying in home ends. I know a lot of fans seem to be really against it but I'm not really bothered. They're making us money and making the ground look busier. If they cause trouble they'll be kicked out. Doesn't really hurt anyone.

Unless it does kick off and people do get hurt from being in the middle of it?..

Can't see it happening. There will be a lot of police at the game.

There's a lot of wind-ups going around today. If there are any fans going in the home end, you're talking dozens not hundreds and they'll keep quiet. You wouldn't go to many grounds in the country for such a high profile game and feel safe if you gobbed off. Donny, Fulham, Wycombe and Watford maybe?

There are a lot travelling without tickets though, so I'd suggest hundreds will be watching in Scunny pubs.

Personally I'm going to be watching in the comfort of my living room nursing a hangover.

Donny’s No different Miller, if your an away fan and gob off in the home end it will kick off. Sit and behave and nothing happens. It’s called being civilised a concept not yet adopted in Rotherham so I forgive your ignorance

Numbers from my own season collection of attendances for League One. Some Scunthorpe are from estimated/guessed.
Away support by team, average home fans, average away fans and % of home fans that attended away fixtures.
These are my own figures and I would not use these to settle any quiz questions.

Our highest numbers for quite some time. Odd, considering we’ve finally been relegated.

Wonder what happens to them next season.

I'm not sure how accurate that is for us, as I think we'll be a fair bit down on last season. I'd have thought our average was around 1,000 but could be wrong.

This. As Leeds and Wednesday fans have found out in recent years.

A couple of Leeds lads got put in hospital for cheering on Leeds in the South Stand.

Out of interest, what figure did you have for us at Scunny?

Looking at footage from the game, the main away end was fairly full.

Was always going to be lower in fairness. Too many Tuesday night games, fair enough several rearranged because of FA Cup, weather and internationals. 2 months in winter were 7 away games in a row were long distance. Planned on doing Wimbledon, Oxford, Northampton and Plymouth but the fixture dates made it impossible for a lot not just me. Blackpool, Fleetwood and Doncaster were sell outs and we would have sold more if given. Gutted Rochdale, Bradford and Walsall were all moved to Tuesday as i had to cancel plans to go all 3.

Intended on doing 13 aways this seaaon but could only.get to 2 in the end annoyingly.

Hope the fixture list is a lot better next season. Preston best be a Saturday this time!

I used 892 from https://www.bradfordcityfc.co.uk/news/2018/may/scunthorpe-away-tickets-update/
Scunthorpe have been hard to find all season so I'm hoping they don't go up.
I do use figures posted on here for away numbers along with official match reports.
All my home attendances matched the final figures from http://www.worldfootball.net/attendance/eng-league-one-2017-2018/1/
I subtract my away figures for home fans and % of home.

Fair enough. I think Southy’s estimate was nearer the mark, to be honest.

I've been impressed by your numbers this season, but is there any reason why you never really bring good numbers to Hillsborough?
Remember you were even disappointing for both League Cup semis.

Went in the Pop? Years back at Belle Vue, saw quite a few other Wednesday, won 4 nil, keep your wits about you and don't act like a bellend you'll be OK. Act like a twat and get what you deserve.
Same at most places, only a few I wouldn't want to risk it.

I'd searched for that long I was just glad to get a figure that didn't finish in zero. 1500 would increase average by about 30. Great numbers from Bradford all season though.
