Like I said it represents how well the team is doing and if as a supporter you are going to be entertained we are a fickle lot

3k for your second biggest derby is shite! I’d be disappointed if we took that to Oldham or somewhere. We did play Wolves to be fair, mentioned above that they did sell out I think. Big club.

Only clubs to have sold out in recent years are:

Rotherham in 2013-2014
Sheff Utd in 2013-2014 & 16/17
Wolves in 2013-2014

Bolton sold 2,500 in 16/17
Blackburn sold 1700 last season

Other than that, it really has been that shit.

Doncaster have taken 2,000 to us before and 400.

Sheffield united brought 3,750 to Gigg in 2011 and then 800 in 2012.

Port Vale another club I’m surprised haven’t had a go at selling out VP, decent following a few years back.

Like most clubs Sheff Utd will take plenty of doing well but they have brought less than 1k to us in League 1. We are no different if we have a good season and challenging for promotion our away support will increase no different from any team really

It was in the championship actually, the season we got relegated I think, 5.30 on bbc we took 1200 or so, went to the races 1st it was a top day out apart from the football.

I suspect that with the relegation of Oldham and Bury, we might end up top of the "percentage of home crowds taken away" table. With the departure of MK Dons, bottom spot in this is also up for grabs.

I don’t recall you having great numbers when you were promoted a few seasons ago?

We tend to average somewhere between 1300-1500. If we’re flying then I think we’ll travel very well in numbers.

I think that was because of our pre-Christmas form. Had some truly horrendous numbers when we were bottom of the league, out the cup in the 1st round to Altrincham etc. Picked up a bit after that.
