Yeah it’s not too bad considering the game was rearranged twice and ended up being a Tuesday night in mid December.

Would like to have breached 1,000 though really.

Can I beg for a bit of help please?

I'd like to know which of the following clubs print away support figures in their match programmes, and which don't.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Barnsley
Bristol R
Burton
Charlton - YES
Doncaster
Fleetwood
Peterborough
Plymouth
Portsmouth

Southend
Wimbledon
Wycombe

Barnsley do.

1674 Pompey at Oakwell.

Not the real Dons had 1048 at ours today. Pathetic they can't even sell out the whole stand of 3K for a derby game, mind you, I don't think they even have 3000 fans.

2,598 Luton of 12,559 at Coventry. Decent turnout considering their form Christmas and the weather.

Great numbers but not the best in terms of noise.

The atmosphere all round was as flat as I've experienced for a very long time.

Jesus, it must have been bad then considering what's gone on at the Ricoh for a few years.

It's really bad.

People are there knowing there won't be a football team there next season.

SISU continuing with legal action against Wasps and therefore Wasps won't discuss a further extension for us to play at the Ricoh. As it stands, we won't be there next season.

Will you play at the proper rugby ground - Coventry RUFC?

Football league wouldn't allow it. Millions would have to be spent ensuring it is football league ready. Dream location but too tricky.

The other option, Nuneaton, wouldn't work because the football league won't allow the club to play outside of Coventry again.

That’s shit. You need to try and stay in the City.

It's not even an option to move like before. The football league have made it clear that we would lose our league status if we don't play within the city boundaries.

It's a mess. SISU, Wasps and Coventry City Council are all to blame.

I think we had 1,006 at Fleetwood. We had 1,100 tickets, sold out 3 weeks before the game and for some bizarre reason I *think* I remember that being the number read out

Fantastic turnout and made themselves heard throughout.

Our perma-online owner has said that Blackpool is close to selling out, if it does we will conceivably ask for extra tickets.
What your allocation at moment?

Around 7,600. Our fan liaison has just said we won't be getting any more now.

Charlton tickets are out now, 2,860 is our allocation. We would normally sell that out easy but it's 4 days after Blackpool and not long after Christmas. May be relying on our southern diaspora to sell the majority of that.

Class that. Your London branch will snap a lot of that up at charlton.

I know it's been said before, but some of these away fan numbers are incredible, really. This is third-tier football - down the bottom of the third-tier in many cases. On a day of foul weather in December.

Can't agree more. Proper fans proper clubs. Plymouth and Pompey week in week out huge distances. Sunderland same but on a different planet. Scandalous a club that well loved has been allowed to drop so far.

Rovers too. But not just the big clubs. The smallest ones too that still take a few dozen or hundred on a wet midweek treck knowing it's likely to lose. Respect. It's expensive travelling across the country for the love and not the glory.

We’d have better away support in league one doing well, than we would struggling in the prem. Winning games regardless of what division increases away support, and sometimes home support. Prime example Sunderland last season.
