1443 Coventry fans plodding on supporting the most depressing club in football.

Why can't we ever get about 800 of those to travel just 38 miles further to the north east...?
I don't think the town of Cleethorpes has much appeal. A fairly bleak place from what I remember and not on the list of away games our fans look for. The same would apply to Luton I guess for the majority of clubs. Interestingly this seems to be confirmed if you look at the visiting away stats for both clubs. We just have to live with our reputations. Might change for us should we move to our centre of town location if the plans get approved.

thought there would have been more after the decent start and the impressive followings you've had so far...
Away end at SJP being redeveloped so away allocation is only 350 for the season I believe. Not sure we would have taken many more anyway - plenty gave it a miss to go to the Wales v Austria game plus it's our 7th away game in less than a month. I'm fecking drained after Crewe, Leeds, Southend and Exeter.

We sold our allocation of 350 - not quite sure what happened to the other 7! - and a fair few paid to get into the home end. A high percentage of our fans also follow Wales which would have had a significant effect on our following if the restriction hadn't been there. As Roger says, seven away games in a month also takes a toll. Morecambe, Crawley and Luton to follow this month (plus Moldova!)

Reasonable effort, incredibly quiet until about a minute to go when the whole end sang.
Good job they brought a few as we had sub 4000 home fans, the sign of things to come.

Same here, though we had 500+ now shows that were able to be counted in the official 'attendance'.

We've sold our allocation for Forest Green on Saturday.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a few try their luck in the home ends.

Seems odd that they'd only have an away end of 350? they never get close to selling out the home ends.

The seats sell out every week and we can't put you in the home terrace behind the goal. There's nowhere else we can put away fans.

What about in one of the side stands?

I kinda liked that away stand, one of those where it was so crap it was actually alright

We've only got a 2 sided stadium for the next 18 months with the away end and old grandstand being knocked down and redeveloped so there just isn't excess space to fit more away supporters. The 350 away supporters are currently housed in the corner of the main stand running across the length of the pitch but with seating being scarce, this stand has been sold out for all the home games so far. Imagine it would be a logistical nightmare to put segregation on the Big Bank so there really isn't any room for manoeuvre on this.

And yeah, I'll miss looking down on the old away end. It certainly had character due to how utterly shite it was.

What is the current capacity and what is the longer term plan for the ground? If you carry on this good run I imagine it will be frustrating in terms of lost income. I agree by the way about the old away end. Nothing but a few steps and no character.

Can't somebody knock on a few doors of those houses behind the away end and ask the home owners if away fans can pop in and have a look out of their bedroom windows?

Current capacity for this season is just over 6,000 and once the redevelopment is completed it will be similar to the 8,300(?) odd capacity it was before the work started. Think there is potential for future expansion but there wouldn't be a need for it unless we made the Championship which needless to say I don't foresee happening any time soon.

Where were the Exeter rugby team in 2001 on this weekend? And where were Grimsby Town FC?
Funny thing sport...unless of course you are MK Dons and then its not funny and not sport.

First correct answer on a postcard gets a packet of Youngs Scampi with a hint of lemon...the most luxury product from Europe's Food Town...but as they'll defrost in the post they have to be collected from my fridge, it cannot be guaranteed that I won't have eaten them when you arrive...
