Poor following that is most fans were saying 3000 or 4000 would go.

Just because a few people made silly estimates doesn't make it a poor following. 1700 is decent. It's wasn't a particularly enticing fixture for many and we've played there 5 years on the bounce.

229 Bees at Cambridge. Still in two minds if that's an excellent or a poor turnout tbh. It's not a long trek from Barnet, but otoh Mark McGhee is their manager so you can see why I'm still undecided.

We sold our last few tickets for Luton yesterday, so 1,032 Imps.

Thats decent. Only Coventry have sold out their allocation so far this season and looking at the fixtures I can't see another teams supporters doing so the rest of the season. We don't have the biggest of away allocations (1032 as you stated) so its a bit disappointing. This game will sell out which means another 10k attendance. Shame that our stadium is so limited as I can see a quite a few home sell outs in the months to come.

Stop making out your some kind of big club then like your fans seem to think they are. 1698 is poor clubs like us get half your crowds but when 4th in the league take that many or more away to games 60 miles away.

Coventrys seemed disappointing as they’d sold 1550 pre sale I believe so expected 2k but still not bad, let’s remember Coventry don’t get the crowds at home they used to either (down to awful management off the field) so I wouldn’t say it’s bad.

We took similar there a couple of Boxing Days ago when having a decent season in league one so would say it’s ok.

Without making excuses, With no Trains running(Barnet to Cambridge on direct line) and the club not running coaches(because TK doesn't like them) it was always going to be difficult to get there unless you had a car.

Just seen this. Bit of an overreaction.

Yes it was less than expected, but we've played at VP for 4 seasons running and there were no trains. A large number of city fans travel to each away game by train and the club only put 2 coaches on.

1175 Luton. Not bad.

Not bad that over Xmas, poor from us though! On the run we are in you would expect 5500 home fans minimum!

Notts Co away all pre sale (500) sold I believe so should be decent following... making a first Away day of the season ( all be it i live half hour away!)

Who is making any 'big club' claims? I merely said that 1700 in the 4th division, midway through a season in a relatively low profile fixture at a ground we've visited 4 years on the bounce (or is it 5, can't recall) is 'decent'. We're only pulling in 6000 for some home games at the minute given all the shit surrounding the club. A few people predicted higher because when tickets went on sale, we've just sold full allocations at Lincoln and Luton in hours, so felt this was an opportunity to take a large following. It didn't really turn out that way. A few years ago in League 1 we took 3000+ to your place, the following year it was 1000. That's just how it is.

The Coventry support was good. Did I expect a few more ? Yes I probably did but all said and done that is a decent following , we are League 2 clubs and they have had more than their fair share of shit at their club.
I'm not going Notts County Monday purely due to the cost of crimbo and my lads birthday yesterday. Sometimes you have to prioritize and 1700 in this division is good.
