Poor bastards watching that shower every week, fair play that so many turned up.
It may be close to our average home gate next season...no way will the fans back them in the Conference a second time with Fenty still at the helm.

In fact 277 more than their last home game

League Two’s Official ‘Big Day Out’

Yes. The big day out.

Cheap beer, not the intensity of the rivalry with chesterfield.

the knowledge we'll never lose

Nope must be something more, seeing as you’ve only lost once at home all season!

A 4th stand to the ground? Fantastic pubs within a short walk to the ground, good nightlife, 24 hour electricity?

There must be something else gents cos Mansfield never lose at home yet struggle to get more than 4000 home fans.

Let me guess, Haslam. Blame Keith :fl:

Havent you had some sub 4k home gates this season? Despite being up there all year.

Oh yeah they have. Especially given they're massive and have 4 stands! Lol. It's the 4 stands which appears often, there 2 teams in the football league that have 2 stands, one took 4 points from Notts this season, and the other is a league above, but hey, we've all got our turn-ons.

There's always a dig at Mansfield if you look close enough, there's some on here less devoted to their own clubs than Viking is to Mansfield. It's cute and it makes folk laugh, so long may it continue!

3,889 against Carlisle in February. Weird as they got 17,274 in the previous home game against Crewe - a game they won 4-1 where tickets were reduced to £2. You'd have thought a few more would have returned!

Can’t you spot the irony in your post Adam, regarding how many posts you make about other clubs? Pot calling kettle a little ? lol.

I’m happy with the Notts home attendances this season, the numbers speak for themselves. Happy to compare and contrast

Yet Mansfield, pre season favourites? Check ! Spent a considerable amount on players , salaries etc ? Check!
Successful lower league manager who guarantees promotion? Check! One home defeat at home all season, best record in the division? Check!

So why hasn’t the attendances improves, everything above screams significantly more home fans alas.....

Blame Haslam I say, they’ll all come flooding back once Big Keith has gone.

You’re still waiting aren’t you?

Excluding the Crewe game anomaly your home fan average is 6,186 is that good?

Yeah you are right GG that was disappointing. Still 4th best home attendances this season is a decent effort wouldn’t you say?

And as for the excellent £2 a person match vs Crewe, 17,274 is a fantastic response from the Nottingham public and Crewe fans. I guess if you add Sincil Bank and Field Mill together, you could fit a little more than 17,274 in. Maybe more if Field Mill replaces the bus stop

Where do 13,000 home fans go? Am sure they'll be another tiresome comment about 3 sides or something obvious on its way.

Although, as Accrington keep showing us all, and we've long suspected, attendances don't mean much in the grand scheme of things.

The 17k crowd was fantastic and just emphasises the strength of the league system here in England, where clubs in the fourth tier are capable of attracting such big crowds. It was a great initiative from the club as well, but surely Alan Hardy would have been disappointed by the lack of returnees for the Carlisle game? No point launching a ticket scheme like that unless the fans come back for the next game. The players did their job winning in convincing style as well. Maybe the casual fans just didn't fancy it on a cold Tuesday night? Plenty has been made of our 'new' fans but at least they're on the bandwagon every game, be it a Saturday or a midweek fixture!

Happy to contribute as always Vanni.

13000 less? £2 vs £20 an adult? That last probably the reason. Big difference in this time of austerity. Tbh the answer was there for all to see but not everyone looks

One day ‘Fountain of Knowledge’ Adam will actually start answer a few questions and queries instead of the usual avoidance tactic.

Accrington is an awful example even by cherry picking standards. For every Accrington , Bury, Rochdale example there are far more proving the contrary . I don’t expect him to understand this .

GG. The schemes and promotions the Chairman has introduced this season have been a success both on the day and to the overall home attendances. Just compare them with previous seasons, I’m guessing being in the right half of the table also makes a difference lol .

Talking of big days out at Notts County, we've pretty much sold our 1900 allocation to season ticket holders today. 2000 more from tomorrow.

What's the maximum we'll get? This is one of those games where the bandwagon is well and truly rolling.

It's exactly the same for us though. Cheap tickets and we get '28,000'. Few weeks later and we're back to 7000.

Lower league clubs struggle to attract fans for many reasons, tickets in the mid £20s are one of them.
