Will be Luton and Lincoln top two as Lincoln still have their big following to the Ricoh.
Whereas Lincoln and Luton have almost unlimited allocations at the Ricoh and turned up in big numbers, we were only given 1500 and 1000 at both of their stadium's. That, and our disappointing numbers away at Port Vale on Boxing Day, will ultimately push them ahead.

Luton will, not sure about Lincoln. A 2500 following from them at the Ricoh will only add 60-70 to their average (unless my maths is out). Fair play to Luton. Even if our numbers have been suppressed by the number of sell-outs we've had, it's been the same for them. Even if we'd have taken at least double to KR than what we were allowed, it wouldn't have made a massive difference.

I am not saying these are 100% accurate but are the best guestimates considering the information available. Luton will easily pass Coventry as Luton still have to visit Notts County

Bravo to Accrington and the Cods. Good numbers given their home attendances and season respectively.

We've sold out our coaches* for Accy on Saturday. A lot of interest in this game even for such a distance.

*could be just one coach, to be fair.

We've also been let down by having games like Swindon and Colchester on Tuesday nights as well as not taking a bigger following to Port Vale. Those grounds have big allocations which we didn't take up.

Due to the sheer size of our stadium. I guess we are lucky as we can accommodate a huge away following for any local opposition or big club who visit Meadow Lane and offer next to no restrictions at this level.

As a club we reap the significant financial benefits , no more than this season thanks to plenty of local traditional East Midlands derbies and Cov and Luton also in town, resulting in the divisions highest average away attendance at any ground. Big financial boost for our chairman

280 Cumbrians at the county ground on Saturday

Is that an actual figure, or an estimate.
If it's an actual figure where do you get them from, because the club seem a bit reticent to publish them nowadays.

PS To be fair it looks about right, I was going to say 250-300

206 Chesterfield in an attendance of 1042 at Morecambe. We best get used to it.

1700 odd sold for Morecambe on Saturday, been given the little side stand now. It’s a nice, easy away game and a good day out for our fans, usually resulting in a win which helps.

The crowd was 1700ish when we there and we had a third of the crowd.
You'll easily outnumber them!

Cheltenham up there with Nottingham as one of the best away days in the league

Crawley one of the worst (I’ve been to both)

Very true, we've played Crawley 3/4 times in the last 4 years as well.

I’m alwats a tad jealous I can’t realy do Nottingham as an away fixture. Seems close to perfect , bar this season, great chance of a result, great away end that can accommodate thousands, close to train station, walkable to city centre, dozens and dozens of nearby pubs to frequent before game and can make a proper weekend of it by staying over for a fantastic night out.

Instead my favourite in L2 is Lincoln , daytrip only mind

Never done Lincoln, next season if they stay down. Wouldn’t mind them opening day away.

Nottingham is brilliant for an away day. A great city all round.

Can't beat a city with a river/canal/lake or by the sea.

We’ve got some promotion on for the Grimsby game - 25 years since reaching the PL. Don’t know why the prices are so haphazard.

prices at £19.93 which is a discount of £3.07.

If I was working in marketing at Swindon I would have set them at 1993 prices which would have been a decent discount and may have actually got extra bums on seats.

To me, that's a lazy promotion.

But what’s the discount based on? Is it a percentage of the usual price.

Worst promotion ever?

How many fans will a £3.07 discount add to the gate??

Completely agree. The club had a chance to do a great discount and have been lamer than Mr lame from 1 Lame Avenue, Lameland.

Nottingham is indeed a great day out, one so easily accessible, and knowing that defeat will never come, even in the 99th minute. The trip to Jerusalem is one all fans should take.

I've always, always enjoyed Carlisle for whatever reason, as well as Morecambe due to its proximity to lancaster (and me).
