Capacity was more last season (just short of 900 iirc) but they've been working on that terrace to put in some seats and cover so expect it's reduced until that's done. Might be wrong there as i think if it gets done capacity would actually be up a bit.
Cheers. That’s annoying!

As I say, might have it wrong and the work is done and there'd be a couple of hundred more tickets if you need them, but sort of expect we'd have just sent you the lot first time.

ETA Just checked and when it's done it'll be 100 seated, about 180 standing under cover and about 800 on the open terrace so maybe it is being sent in batches.

I’m allowing around 3 hours from Swindon to Lincoln. Would that be about right? Don’t want to eat into Guinness time!

Go east of the A1/Nottinghamshire border and the roads revert to the 1950s. Id be out of Swindon for 8.30 or so. If you get there early then well, bonus.

Leicester to Lincoln (if you intend travelling that way) along the A46 is dual carriageway most of the way apart from a small stretch around Newark. Lincoln however is another matter.

Anyone playing us in August or September will be offered 350 max, as the new away end won't be ready until 'sometime in October'. If its any consolation it looks like the home fans will be restricted too with a total capacity of less than 5000.
It's unclear about October, which considering we are playing Swindon and FGR could be important

TBF, Lincoln allocating 1000-1200 to away fans is more than enough for most L2 clubs. Off the top of my head, I'd say only a handful of current L2 clubs will ask for more.

I've often come across criticism of their away allocation (not on this board though - mostly on fan forums/Facebook etc) and I don't think it's justified at all. The present situation at SB is similar to Kenilworth Road, as in the rest of the ground is full of home fans. If I'm not mistaken SB holds just under 9000, so 1200 is more than decent IMO.
We were only given 400 though and sold out. Though unless we are doing really well I suspect that may be enough next January

I did spend some time in Lincolnshire in the 70s when I was stationed at RAF Digby.

I think you’re right about selling in batches. Think the TO said we’d sold 500 of the 700 as of yesterday. Would assume they’ll go on general sale on Monday and we should easily shift a further 200, so hopefully we’ll receive a 2nd allocation.

Granted I’ve probably put my foot in it now and we’ll end up taking 694.

Sounds like you'll all be sent an initial 1000 tickets and then go from there.
Sure the local teams will just be given 1800 straight away as we wont segregate the stand for those games.
There's an article on our club's website regarding how the away end will be sold to the visiting teams for the new season.

I think our away stand capacity was reduced last year from 2,250 to 1,600.. not sure if we will pay to increase it as 1600 likely enough for every club anyway?

Apparently we have initially been allocated Blocks 1-3 Stacey West.

How many is that

I'd imagine we'll be wanting more than that given we haven't played you for a while. Is there a reason for the reduction in away capacity because away fans normally just got the full end didn't they?

Would have thought perhaps 1 or 2 other clubs, depending on how they're playing, would take 1600+ no?

Well we don’t do reserved seating anymore and that knocks 10% off.

Away fans (Bury, Wrexham, Chester) damaged the remaining seats and it just wasn’t a priority to replace them when biggest conference followings were 1,000. They uninstalled the entirety of the front two rows least season due to that.

That's home fans.

You're 4-7 or 5-7 depending on how big the segregation is, so about 1,000.

We've been allocated 1008 tickets for Macclesfield.
Do Macc fans think we'll get any more or will that be our lot?
Not meaning to sound all billy big bollocks but I'd expect the lot of those to go to season ticket holders being the first away game, and I don't have a season ticket. :(

The terrace and seating holds around 1700 I believe.

Did we? Don’t remember any flying seats when I was on the pitch myself.
