No mention yet of the number of U's fans at Boro, but if I were to guess I'd go with a little over 700. Tranmere took close to 1050 iirc, so 700 seems about right to me.

TBH, it was a disappointing turnout but not exactly surprising as loads of U's fans have had enough of Boro, going on the comments on our forum. OTOH, 2200 Boro fans for a Saturday home game is very poor IMO.

We are the only side in the football league not to have won away this year thats part of the reason. Under micky adams i used to go near enough every away game as we would try win and usually win 10 away a season now we are lucky win 3 away a season.

Since the start of the 2016/2017 season we have won just 6 away games at mk dons walsall crawley exeter morecambe and carlise but no away win since december 16th 2017. We have given away leads in 2 away games in injury time at grimsby and crewe to end up drawing them.

I guess everyone has a tolerance threashold , I went FGR last season.
Today if I was offered a lift in a limousine with lap dancers and free beer all day I would still of said no .
Just go for the day on the beer now usually on train such as Bury, Oldham, Mansfield, etc .
Watching Vale away is painful but I've never known such poor followings.
Everyone clearly feels like I do
