We get that to a certain extent on our offical club twitter account, however I (and i'm sure most fans) pay far more attention to the Ciderspace account as it's far more balanced (and bitter & twisted)

This just happened and is a very good example of that

Yeah just looked at Northampton's, and they've tweeted at least ten times in the first 20 mins, covering all their chances and ours. Ours have only tweeted our 3!

Very nervous first half from both sides really.
Although MK clearly a level above us, Notts have shown attacking threat but final ball as normal very poor.
I think Enzio has already left the club as he is aimlessless wandering about.
Fair score as it stands as neither side troubled the keepers yet.

1-0 to Alex at HT. It sounds like we were more than in the game and had far more efforts on goal but a stupid defensive error cost us dearly.

All bottom three teams now trailing. I think Yeovil are now virtually gone especially if Macc can get themselves another equaliser.

2-0 Crewe if there was even any slight doubt before that one is over with. Just can’t see any pathway for Yeovil to get the points they need now sadly.

Yet another big day at the bottom with tough games for all three. Macc will probably fancy picking up three points the most, but hopefully Eric just above is right. Although they’ve nothing to play for, Northampton still have a decent squad - do us a favour please boys. And we’re hoping Crewe repeat their performance against us last Saturday and stick a few past Yeovil.

It could well be as you were going into the last three. But if we could close the gap to Macc to a point or even overhaul them today (ok, I’m being optimistic here) then we have Crawley/Grimsby/Swindon, which is possibly the kindest run in of all three.

Ah well. I was right at least. But cheers anyway Crewe/Cobblers

No idea what Campbell says at half time but that was an absolutely shocking half of self-destruction. Gifted a very beatable Northampton two goals and showed absolutely nothing. Several injuries rub salt in the wound.

Strange after a 1-4 but elated to finally exit this thread! Good luck to all involved.

I remember the season we were challenging for a final play off spot with Carlisle and another club and it seemed no one wanted it as we all kept losing.
This time I think all 3 want it unfortunately.

Well, we can officially wave goodbye to Port Vale, Morecambe and Crawley, as they are mathematically safe after today's results. And I'm going to lump in Cambridge as well, they aren't going down.

Now a 3 horse race to see who's the slowest it seems. All 3 teams lost and it's looking increasingly grim for both County and Yeovil. Yeovil don't have many favourable games left, 2 promotion chasers and a tough team to beat on the road. Hard to see where even 1 win is coming from, let alone 3. But you never know, shock results happen all the time at this point in the season. As for County, they have 3 reasonable fixtures left. They could still do it.

Macc have the suddenly play-off chasing Newport and then 2 strugglers with nothing to play for. It's not inconceivable that they beat both the Vale and Cambridge. But can they actually win, something that has been a massive struggle for them.

This is going down to the wire me thinks. Who wants it most? Or least?

Looking at them fixtures I slightly favour Maccs chances over Notts. I hope we do the right thing (and am sure we will) and play our game with them properly. I'd hope others would do the same if the boot was on the other foot but Macc will back themselves get a point at VP then beating Cambridge on the last day which I'd expect would be enough.

Yeovil I just can't see it, when we played them there seemed very few leaders in that team which is needed in this situation. Feel for whoever does go down though, not least as it could very easily have been us.

Notts have definitely got the easiest run-in IMO.

Notts will stop up.,,,

Crawley away which is a good chance, they should beat sides like Grimsby and Swindon might have nothing to play for

After playing Notts and Yeovil in the last 6 days. Both look doomed to me. Both games could have easily ended 5 or 6 nil. I just don't see either of them scoring enough to challenge staying up. Neither seemed to fight and scrap as much as you would think a team starring non league in the face would.

Yep the fight has gone from our lot. On paper it’s a chance to get something for all three games but will lost two of the three and get relegated for the first time in our log proud history. Bad times
