Well that clearly didn’t answer the question lol . Don’t be turning into Adam from Manchester Conks. The answer is of course, One Call

Ive heard some interesting rumours about our chairman , none have suggested sexism. He’s been heavily promoting and helping the Nots county youth / kids teams for both boys and girls. Great for the local community

One Call?

Justify it ? I don’t have to. I personally don’t care about the Notts ladies team, even when they were successful. It was Trew’s baby, little glory project. I never went to a game or even considered it and I believe it took money away from my beloved NCFC so I give the move a big thumbs up. Spend on the men’s first team. That’s the priority, right? :bravo:

Initial allocation of 4,500 all snapped up for MK Dons tomorrow, any chance of MK giving us any more?

4,500 of you putting money into that 'club'. Shame on you all.

I don’t know what’s worse. A terrible joke posted in the wrong thread or someone falling for it.

Our budget was quoted at around £2.5m last season.

It's probably bigger now due to being unable to shift a few players.
Well, it's bigger because you increased it before attempting to shift players like a normal L2 owner/club would do.

We’ve sold Chinese teenage sensation Dongda He to Wolves. What a pre-season it was, though.

Really surprised you're letting him go after losing Payne and Nolan so close to the window. Yes, he's not the same kind of player as either of them but he could certainly plug a gap and/or give you another option. It's kind of frustrating as well from our perspective as he was our best player by a mile (admittedly not difficult in our squad last season!) and it just seems like his transfer to you lot was so pointless and of no benefit to anyone involved.

A victim of the change of manager over the summer as is often the way. Even Hurst didn't play him very much saying that his fitness wasn't up to the required levels last season shortly after he'd signed him. As you say it was a strange signing in the first place.

I’m not sure how to feel about this. On one hand I was fully on then Dongda He bandwagon so not happy. However, I have a sneaky feeling with it being Wolves, and I mean the current WWFC , that the initial fee will be impressive and no doubt clauses are in place just in case he is a success there further down the line

Yup, they have Chinese owners and I suspect they wanted to quickly sign a Chinese teenager in England who has shown a little bit of potential in case he does become a star. We’ve probably covered the majority of the fees we spent over the summer by selling a 17 year old no one had heard of a few weeks ago, it’s very decent business.

All true but I remember the gorgeous Frenchman Tony Garcia, and the wonderfully named Gabrielle Chi Chi Mendez, and I wanted to feel that sort of excitement again.

If he’s gone for anything approaching that figure, even half of it, I’m delighted. But we will probably never know , unless Big Al gives a Big Clue on twitter

Sparked a hilarious meltdown from some fans who seemed to think he was the Chinese Messi based on one goal against Basford United, and one half decent dribble v Leicester. Probably a reflection of just how long it is since we had a properly good youngster tho, at least this is a sign Hardy’s work in that area is already paying dividends.

End of the day we’ve probably paid off our summer outlay in one fell swoop thanks to one lad who may or may not make it.

This potentially substantial Youth Academy player sale, sure as hell won’t be remembered on here as the season progresses

Would have to know the actual figure but overall I’m happy

Don't think he will ever play for Wolves in the current climate unless he really is the 'Chinese Messi'. Seems more of a marketing stunt to appease our ever growing Chinese fan base.

Any rumored fee?

Stuff like this is usually a small fee with plenty of clauses to profit from in the future, usually when a PL club comes in like this the selling club have no power to stop the player joining.

The sell on %, appearance bonus etc are more important in my eyes than the initial fee.

If the initial fee is say £200,000 , chuffed. But unless the Chairman blabs it will go down as an ‘unknown’ which is sadly commonplace nowadays

Our Chairmans favourite word is 'undisclosed'.

The fee for He is rumoured to cover most of our summer outlay and is supposedly significant

Not a player transfer, and I'm only mentioning this because the Cambridge lot might be interested, but unbeknown to most of us, Jez George joined us on a consultancy basis as Head of Football Operations at the end of last season.

Seems it's more the Academy side than anything to do with the first team.

I posted a squad churn image the other week, and they've done another one since the closing of the window.

Cheltenham look like they've lost most of their main players (minutes wise) from last season.

We've kept ours together, bar Woodyard who played the most minutes. Waterfall, despite being Captain, was 8th or 9th in terms of minutes.

Despite a lot of players leaving us, that percentage shows how many of them were fringe players really. I’m amazed we didn’t lose any of Pym, Boateng, Stockley etc. We’re in a good place and just need one or two more on loan to solidify things.

The alledged fee (from said xxxxx) is 2.5 million.
Up front is £200k. The way the if he does this, if he does that. It’s not even worth thinking about it. Well unless he’s transferred again.
