We were told Josh Morris was terrible by Bradford fans and he turned out to be incredible. We then we're told McArdle was past it and that one was quite accurate (even if he's a goal scoring machine this season). Perhaps every other player we get who last played for Bradford will work out.
Morris clearly wasn’t a bad player just got injured at the wrong time and couldn’t get into the side. Parkinson released him then moved to Bolton. If we had McCall in charge earlier I don’t think he would have left

Is he any good?
When we feels like it. If he shows up he's technically the best player in the league. The main issue is it's very rare he decides to show up. Most of the time he saunters around the pitch doing nothing

Van Veen is too good for the Fourth Division, he told us that...

These comments always make me laugh. On what basis are you forming that he is a great acquisition?
Decent record last season for a relegated side and quite a lot of our fans seem to have seen enough of him to form a very positive opinion.

Rudden was linked with L1 sides earlier in the window. Lowe very good mates with Gerrard and am pretty sure the 2 of them combined will know a player who's a solid signing for this league.

Fair enough PG. As with all signings from Scotland its hard to know whether a player will do well in England. You would hope that as a Rangers player he'll have a decent footballing education but its not always easy moving from Glasgow down to somewhere miles away.

Callum Cooke coming in from Peterborough, wanted him all summer according to their Chairman on Twitter but not able to afford him until now it seems.

I would be careful signing too many attacking players, too many Cooke’s spoil the broth........

When I was told we were signing a foreign striker on Tuesday night, I didn’t think it’d be quite as close as Scotland.

They have? Watch a lot of Scottish 2nd division football do they? I find that hard to believe.

Genuine question, but do Rangers actually produce decent players consistently?

Their squad currently contains 7 Scots, only 3 of which came spend time in their youth system. Not exactly speaking for a great track record with players is it?

As you say, it's hard to judge how a player will do moving from the Scottish Leagues. But we've seen plenty of players from L1/L2 move north and bang in goals in the Scottish leagues. And players move south of the border and flop. He could easily struggle, being so far away from home at 19.

Graham Carey came down from the SPL to League Two and I’d argue in his first two seasons, he was probably the best player in both Leagues one and Two. Gregg Wylde not so much.

We've confirmed the signing of George Miller on loan from Barnsley. We now should be able to fill a bench for Saturday so that's a bonus.

Decent signing was pretty good when we had him on loan from Middlesbrough a few years ago.

Callum Cooke signed on a season long loan deal from Peterborough United. An attack-minded midfielder who Bowyer has coached before.

Relatively pleased with this one.

What position is he best in? I've seen a few comments saying he's a number 10 but some say he can play on the left too.

I see Devitt has started following Bradford on Twitter.

Always a good sign

There is a rumour on the Blackpool forum about a swap between Keshi Anderson and Devitt. I know Wellens put him on the transfer list but I wouldn’t be too happy with that.

A talented player, but can be a bit arrogant and often appears as if he is above having to work hard without the ball meaning he can drift in and out of games. I like him though and if a manager could manage to curb his prima-donna tendencies and actually get the best out of him for a full season, he would arguably be the best player in the league.
