McCoulsky had a decent loan spell at Newport so I am surprised he’s struggled for you. How’s Aaron Collins done so far? He was superb at Morecambe so expected him to score plenty for you...

Collins is just back from injury, but even before that he's struggled in the same way the rest of our forwards have from a lack of service.

Just seen this on twitter from the guy that analysis all the data for Peterborough. Lowery and a few of our other players are going to be highly sought after.

All this xG, xA, XY bollocks... does it just translate to, in normal footballing terms, Lowery is handing this league its arse?

We ( our mental ex-Chairman ) , signed a player called Trickett-Smith in January from a local non-League side Leek Town.
Crewe fans will know more about him i believe he went for decent money to the bin dippers ?

Not featured once since the loon signed him and now farmed out to Curzon Ashton on loan for 2 months.
Was one of our highly touted youngsters and he bolted to Liverpool at 18, but got no useful professional experience in his prime development years and got released at 21. Another example of a player leaving the lower levels too early and having his career fall to pieces because of it.

FGR are keen on a double swoop for Derby County ‘top lads’ Tom Lawrence and Mason Bennett.......

Ben Garrett currently training at Vale.

Not sure if with a view to sign or with Bury gone to keep himself fit. Would be decent but have Madison as a second choice and would have to settle for a number 2 down to Scotty Brown's performances.

For some stupid reason we've decided to let Adam Hammill go out on loan to Stockport. Fantastic player, just fell out with Hurst and now that's the end of him. Great stuff

Maybe he will be recalled when Hurst is sacked?

Garratt’s situation is really fooking weird. Solid keeper at this level but we were so quick to release him (when he “stalled” on a new contract) and he’s basically been unemployed for three months. Got to be more to it, unless he’s incredibly picky/unrealistic about wages and location.

I've heard lots of things behind this. Some people say Artell fucked him over but I disagree, he had plenty of time to sign the contract. I think we were well within our rights to withdraw it (but why we gave Bowery all the time in the World I do not know).

What I do believe is that two clubs he was in talks with (one being Shrewsbury where he was on trial and one being Forest Green) balked at his wage demands. There was also rumoured interest from Plymouth but I don't know if that was just a fan thinking of the Ryan Lowe connection. He thought he was worth double what he was being paid here, and I can't see him being on more than £1500 a week with us. He was then pretty much guaranteed a contract at Bury given the state they were in, but their expulsion has obviously left him in the lurch. Blackburn had him on trial but no way would he have got game time there.

I think terrible advice from his agent (who I believe has represented a few of our past players and got them moves) has really messed his career up. But I do feel for Garratt. It's criminal how players like Turton, Guthrie, Nugent and Bingham all got better pay and better contracts after they left our dogshit side yet Ben can't even get a good deal in this league let alone the league above. I wish him well, but he's not even gonna get the starting gig at Vale.

I can see his next move being down to the National League which would be an absolute shame for someone with his experience.

I do feel for Ben, he's one of the better keepers at this level. It's a shame he's not got a club. But on the other hand it's probably quite handy from a club perspective. If you mess us about and don't sign, look at what can happen.

There seems to be alot of players still with put s club Aaron Taylor-Sinclair still hasn't got s club I thought he was very decent when we had him last season on loan Mbula who we had on trial is another. I've got a feeling this is all a knock on effect of Burys demise. One less club and more teams tending to have a trimmed down squad due to money being tight.

One of our forum notables bumped into Billy Clark the other day. He said he was fit, healthy and looking for a club ( he played at Crawley for two seasons by the way).

Obviously, last season with Bradford (injuries etc al) would be the reason he hasn't got a club but you got to say he would be an asset for most league two, and league one, clubs.

Clarke’s well past his best but agreed he would do a job in L2, his brain is better than most at this level but his legs aren’t what they were.

I've seen Salford want our former youth player Ben Marshall. He was released by Norwich in the summer. If he can get fit he would be a very good signing for this level. Bolton also interested.

Will Atkinson signed on a short term deal. Remember him being pretty decent when we had him on loan some time back.

Decent Freebie that. Had a decent lower league career.

We definitely need help in midfield with Oyeleke and Conlon out injured. Too much to put on Burgess and Taylor otherwise as promising as they’ve looked. If all works out am sure can extend it if not we can both move on easy enough.

Jack of all trades master of none is Atkinson, squad filler at best.

Essentially what we need at the moment to see us through the various injuries... have no right back tomorrow, got Manny out also and Conlon and struggling for wide men sounds like he can do them all!

He'd tear this league a new one, we still have fans wanting us to sign him again 8 years later.

He’s a weird one to describe, in that you’re right he can play those positions, but he isn’t a winger, he isn’t a textbook centre mid, he just sort of fills in when better players are out.

I must admit to knowing nothing of his personal life so please do correct me if I'm wrong but Atkinson the man seems like a decent guy. He never seemed to play but I never heard of him grumbling and overall he seemed a likeable character.

I don't know if he can be a first team player in League Two though, he was a fair distance behind our other midfielders and our midfield was quite weak. MacDonald for example I think is much better than Atkinson, but then I am not convinced by MacDonald either? Probably have done the right thing giving him a short term contract.

Gabriel Zakuani, apparently. Gillingham fans thought highly of him. Been out for a while with injury, though.

Good player and absolute beast. If you can get him fully fit that’s a great signing surely. Have to say I fancy Swindon this year.

Good signing on paper although another who's been hampered by injury. Got some brilliant players but picking up injuries and struggling at home again, though it's still early.

Same for us. That said I guess teams at our level wouldn’t get them if they hadn’t got some faults!
