Great numbers from Oxford and a good following from Bristol Rovers as well, poor from Doncaster, would have expected them to take more to top of the table Luton.

Would have been more too but our tickets were limited due to crowd trouble previously.

Probably a good move from Plymouth though as they sold out the home end I believe

We decided to send half our tickets back 3 days before the game. Pathetic.

They never take numbers away.

They're on a bad run 0/6 or 7 wins after today.

  1. No excuses though , England played last night , Leeds didn't have a game , but there was a march from Nostell to Doncaster so some may have got lost .

Below our average away following - but I was right to think we were at around 532 !

Those who did not go had a lucky escape.

We must have one the lowest percentage of away followings to home fans in the country.

Sounds like sour grapes to me.

Most of the noise came from our end and without us the place would have been like a morgue.

Not at all. Until the final 15 minutes the noise wasn't great at all. You only have to look at the pictures to see most sitting down.

It was one of the quieter ones from us, a shocking performance didn't help.

But to be fair also one of the biggest % increases in fans, both home and away, over the last 20 years - did you ever go to Belle Vue?
True. We've managed to sustain our home attendances since we came up from the conference 15 years ago.
Away from though they've dipped massively since our relegation from the Championship.

Cheers, anything in your programme to confirm it as I know that Scunthorpe take a while to let anyone know and assumed that this figure was an end of game estimate.? Hoping a Scunthorpe fan on here (?) will have a look in their programme as well.

I liked Bell Vue. The 3-3 draw the last time we got promoted to the championship springs to mind. Been 30 years since our ground last had terraces.
I try not to think about our last visit to Belle Vue it was in the League Cup, we were 2 leagues above Donny at the time and raced into a 2-0 lead, what could possibly go wrong from there huh? :gmc:

I have the Donny contingent as 2050 - I would imagine that came from Twitter Feed on the day. Will look at Electronic Programme later and amend figure if it does not agree.

No official figure for our trip to Sunderland, but I believe we sold every tickets allocated to us. 2,900.

As for the figures at VP, I’m hoping they’ll be listed in the programme - which I’ll purchase before the end of the season.

Decent numbers on a Tuesday, who didn't deserve to watch that awful performance.

I have to say though, what was going on with the atmosphere last night (or lack of)? 2-0 in 12 minutes & 3-0 in 30mins, into the play offs and there wasn't any atmosphere at all?

Very rarely is there an atmosphere but it’s more to do with how the stadium is constructed, we have had these debates before, the away fans don’t here the home and vice versa despite each ones saying they made noise but couldn’t hear the other. I’ve sat at the halfway point and you can hear both sets of fans but it isn’t loud and rarely will travel to the other end of the ground unless it’s full. With less than 7k in it will always sound quiet.

p.s

We tend to be a grumpy set of buggers which also doesn’t help :shut:

I was watching on iFollow & didn't hear much at all but fair point. That's odd for a new stadium though!

It’s been a huge debate amongst our own fans, the roof slopes upwards so sound seems to follow it and obviously leave the stadium. It goes back to the Mayor at the time the stadium was to be built, delaying the decision to build due to the mayoral election and the price of steel rising meaning the actual stadium design is totally different to what it should have been

Burton away on 6th April unsurprisingly sold out. That terrace is going to be snug
