Not sure I would sign on again with a club if the owner had basically just slagged me off in the press for not taking what they'd offered so far.
Yes, especially as he would easily get another club.

The other way to look at it is that he has come out on top in the discussions and is happy about the position he is in or the concessions he got from the owner.

Sounds like Roland backtracked and rang Bowyer and made him another offer. The hope is that he was told/advised by someone to do so, maybe the prospective new owners, who knows.

I guess from Bowyer's view, he - along with the fans are hopeful he won't be working for Roland much longer anyway.

Just shows how much Bowyer loves the club. Frankly, I am amazed he has managed to get Charlton promoted with a loon in charge. Fair play

Ok. I didn’t think I would have to come on and explain that obviously “end me now” was an exaggeration and that I don’t actually want to die.

Close to tears when the statement was released, yes. Frustration, anger, despair and disappointment all at the same time
If Bowyer leaves in this way, it’s more than just a manager leaving to us.
Oh dear, one.

Talk about taking comments too literally, christ....
And two. Soft twats.
No more takers?

I'd suggest the soft twat is the one getting worked up over throwaway comments.

He was fishing mate, obviously. Usually the case when someone is shown up for being bit of a clown.

Oh dear, you cider and shandy drinking southern softies really are a bit simple.
Do you genuinely think I thought You was gonna "end it all" or whatever you said?
Reread my 1st comment it's obviously made about, and even says the words your overreaction.
For you to then tell me you didn't actually mean it, really??
As for young Jordan, he replies about a off the cuff comment, by taking it in his own words "literally" (beautiful irony) Mind it is Jordan expect no less really.
At least you've both given me a laugh, chill out lads.
BTW I also didn't think you genuinely nearly cried, if true man up you soft twat.

If when I'm your age I'm as sad and weird a c*** as you are I may well ask for it all to be ended and actually mean it.

What do I have to do with it? Stop referring to me as my first name as if you know me and we're chummy, I think you're a tosser as do most others who have to read the drivel you post on here.

Great to see a thread about Lee Bowyer become so confrontational, and a bit of infighting to boot, he would be proud.

You're so far up certain posters (who you probably see as the "cool ones" tit) on here's arse (and your own) it's not true.
I really don't want to be chummy with a spotty faced young kid, who's just found beer and maybe even girls. I have real mates Thanks.

Clearly you're on about Southey and I have no idea what you're going on about as me and him have clashed several times on this forum over the years which wouldn't have been the case if I was "up his arse".

My face is currently spot free but thanks anyway — gutter of an insult to go along with the other hammer blows you've dealt such as "just found beer" and "cider/shandy drinking softies".

He would and sorry to send it off track.
I think you're a decent bloke, who I had a little dig at re your overreaction not expecting anybody to take it seriously. (The less said about the other 2 posters the better).
Anyway glad he's stopping and hope you get your owners sorted.

Bobbin won't shag you mate, though I should think you won't be arsed what with your massive pool of mates and wenches.

Do you think before you type?

Gutter of an "insult" (Jeez can't you take it babba) it's only a bit of a laugh don't take it so seriously.
On the other hand saying things relating to someone taking their own life is much lower, I laugh it off, but it could really affect some people.
