the return of Gary Monk

fancy a really tight game in this one, with us sneaking it 1-0 late on

Roberts to score again

Last one in a trio of tough games, we’ve played well in the last two and arguably should have taken at least 4 points, I’d settle for a scruffy bag of shit and a 1-0 win, unlikely, but on the whole we’ve played better against the better sides this year.

Leeds look like the real deal this year and in all probability the last couple of games may well catch up with us and see Leeds take a comfortable win.

Ipswich at home the following week is a far more important game.

How come?

Fancy blues to get a surprising victory(no joke). They have been playing well lately, and will shock Leeds. Leeds have to get beat at some point.

Just why?
Going up north today with 3 mates, 2 City and 1 Leeds fan. Doing a day in Wigan, then a night in Manchester, then onto Leeds tomorrow morning for a day in Leeds then getting the last train back.

You must have a nose bleed up there!
When does it all go to crap and you tumble down the division?

Sure they will be a blip but on current form I can't see it we aren't just beating teams we are playing them off the park atm, Stoke, Derby, Norwich and Preston it's like we are a completely different squad to last season and bar a few players we aren't

he's been good but Kalvin Phillips and Klich have been phenominal, somehow Bielsa has taken a very average Phillips and turned him into fucking Gattuso in his prime

reading somewhere that phillips passing accuracy is 88% in 8 games and his tackles won and possession turnover was something like 45 in 8 games, fuck me

awful start to the game , wrong footed our keeper to make it 1-0 then a pop shot sneaks in

2 shots on goal for Birmingham and 2 goals

might be our first defeat coming up, we aren't playing very well tbh

never really got going but how Birmingham won from 2 shots that in a normal game would never get close is beyond me, fair play for the way they frustrated us but we really need our 3 key players back in hernadez , roofer and bamford, tyler Roberts had a very bad game but no real service

somehow still top but a hard game to Brentford next could be 2 losses in a row then I will be worried, nobody looks particularly great early on though, maybe WBA are hitting stride but fuck me Stoke are pathetic (jjh tipped them to storm this league)

So did most people, still think they’ll finish top six - squad’s much better than yours is.

Your keeper’s fucking tripe, I don’t rate Camp either but he was outstanding.

Also, you’ve not Brentford next..... good to see Leeds are back.

Managed to watch the game on Leeds WebPass, thought first half we soaked up the pressure comfortably, never looked in danger, a fact backed up by Leeds first shot on target coming in the 65th minute, looking dangerous on the attack and could arguably gone into the HT break more than 2 in front.

Weathered an almighty storm last half hour or so, defended admirably and deserved the luck we had at the very end with the two big chances.

Really pleased Monk finally seen some reward for the way he has this ramble of mismatches from 3 different managers playing and working as a unit.

Now that’s over I’ll happily see Leeds go on to win the league.

Fantastic result, tbh I expected a loss today, so glad blues proved me totally wrong.
Great to see Che get 2 goals, Camp was brilliant, Lakin very impressive again, Dean gave a warriors performance! All the lads dug in and fought for the points. What a great manager we have. To top it all off the vile lose aswell, what a fantastic day!
Let’s build on this now.
KRO!
