Will be a very good test for us this game, some quality players in Leicester's side and we'll have to be at our very best in order to get anything.

Cavaliero is out for around 6 weeks which will be a blow, it will mean we need Adama Traore to return from his own injury as soon as possible. Would like to see Dendoncker given some gametime but I think we'll be waiting a while for that considering he hasn't had a pre season. We'll probably line up the same as last week.

Patricio
Bennett - Coady - Boly
Doherty ----------------- Jonny
Neves - Moutinho
Costa ----------------- Jota
Jimenez
Prediction: Leicester 2-1 Wolves

With City up next after this there is a very real possibility that we end the first 3 games with 1 point. My worry about this is still that Doherty and Bennett side. Thought Bennett was solid enough although would like to see Vinagre start and Jonny flipped to the right.

Hope this will happen too. I really think Vinagre will take to the prem, he's won 2 European Championships with Portugal in as many years, he has a big future.

My accumulator for this week relies, in part, on both teams scoring in this one.

Wolves are an interesting specimen, a bit like Fulham they have spent a boat load of money on new players so I'm fascinated to see whether the manager can integrate them and make this season a successful one. Top ten successful for Wolves?
Leicester are still a tough side to beat in the Prem despite the loss of a few key players over the past couple of seasons. Got to fancy them.

Leicester 3 Wolves 1

Think we will score today but worried our defence won't be up to the standard needed so will need reinforcements in Jan.

Sounds like Traore is ready for involvement today but apparently Dendoncker is still unfit/unready so will be an unchanged side from last week I imagine.

Calamitous from the sounds of the commentary. Been controlling the game and hit the frame twice and now behind to a mistake resulting in an OG.

Plenty of time to adjust yet but today sounds like my worries coming to fruition early. Lack of quality at the back resulting in Leicester scoring what dont even sound like chances they've created, but been gifted.

Rude awakening.

Your transfer activity was woeful - it just isn't a squad capable of grinding results at this level. Your best shot is giving Big Sam a huge kitty for christmas.

Wolves look amateur in defence tbh. Midfield aren't helping at all.

Very important to note the championship was a bum division last season - the normal champion momentum was never going to be for Wolves. They needed dogs of war but instead they signed foreign shite only there for the payday. It's so QPR

There will be 3 worse teams than Wolves this season.

Personally think they'll have a slow first few months but eventually push up to around mid table by the end of the season.

Based on what?

I think they'll strengthen further in January. By then, it'll be clear who's capable and who isn't for this level. I saw enough last week vs Everton to see that they'll be competitive at this level. In fact, I don't think they played very well at all last week but they still looked like a Premier League team. Far more so than Newcastle and Cardiff did earlier.

I expect Wolves to be fairly decent at home. They'll have some rude awakenings on the road. Prediction rise, I reckon they'll be in the 14th-17th range for the first half of the season and then they'll pull away after being a bit cannier in January.

I really can't see them being worse than 3 of Cardiff, Newcastle, Southampton, Huddersfield. That's not taking into account the fact Burnley may struggle a bit, Fulham may take a bit of time to adapt too, Watford are a bit of an unknown quantity etc. I'll be very surprised if they're in any serious danger.

Based on what Mark said last week it should be impossible for wolves to get owt now they're playing 10 men.

This is what happens when I bet on a team to score, sorry.

Think most logical fans would take that and be delighted Lee, need to be a bit smarter about the chances they give away as been fairly solid but conceded through errors that should be fairly coachable for 3 of 4 goals. Hit the post again and sounds like Traore has played well and looked a difference. Just need to get the City game out the way and then look to get a win in the September fixtures.

Seen the highlights and been trawling through the stats zone app, most people very positive about the performance bar the usual idiots.

Concerns are that Doherty wouldn't get in any other team in the prem or make many benches (if any) but is starting at a very key area for us, tried to sign Cancelo and then didn't appear to have a backup target, that needs to be a priority in Jan.

CBs overall looked much better this week, although the long range deflected goal is very reminiscent of our previous stay, where we don't pressure people early enough and resulted in loads of long range goals against us.

Very unlucky not to score today, potentially too patient when chasing a game but saw this last year.

You know I predicted us to lose?
It's the manner of the results though isn't it? First two games you've had the opportunity of playing against ten men not taken - not good from a Wolves perspective - at this level you simply must take these opportunities.

Agreed we haven't been clinical enough, and in the Premier League is more ruthless than any other league in the world.

Our overall play has been good. We hit the woodwork 2 or 3 times, dominated the stats and their manager said that Leicester were lucky to win. I know all of this counts for nothing ultimately, but it shows we have been competitive. I believe if we continue the way we're going the results will come. Everton Leicester and Man City is a very tough opening 3 too, I'm confident we'll pick up points against the lesser teams in the league.

Loving Jiminez mind, very unlucky not to score and can see him getting close to 12 goals, which is usually a fantastic mark for a non top 6 side. Still confident of hitting that 9th-16th mini league.
