Right. First off. Where to drink/park?

Tough old game, this. Trying to convince myself it’s a good time to play Lincoln as they try reverting from aero football to more terra firma. Whether that is their plan, I have no idea.

Our win on Saturday papered over some old cracks. Still look dodgy with Taylor defending at left back - but hopefully his dead ball kicks and passing ability will outweigh the negatives. Adebayo looks a handful up front but doesn’t look a natural goal scorer to me - albeit it’ll only be his 2nd game! We created, and missed, a whole load of chances - hit bar 4 times, messed up 4 one-on-ones.

Our midfield has had a major upgrade - especially going forward. Direct and pacy with young Alzate looking a real gem of a player. Hopefully the Chuckle Brothers know nothing about him yet.

Should be a good test of both team’s credentials.

Parking will be a nightmare, so if you get there early you might get in a side street. The South Common is mainly all pre-paid parking this season so that's probably a no-go.

There's a multistory car park about a 10 minute walk from the Stadium within the Transport Hub (LN5 7BP).

Drink wise, the Square Sail on the Brayford has been the nominated away pub for the last couple of seasons I think. If that's still the case, best to park in the multistory next to that (Lucy Tower - LN1 1XL). That's a short walk onto the high street, too.

Tonnes of pubs on the high-street and on the way to the Stadium. Depends what kind of pub you're after, though?

Thanks for that. Just after a ‘normal’ football boozer with, hopefully, some nosh available and a decent pint of Guinness.

Predicted a win in the prediction league but don't really fancy it to be honest. Have Lincoln down as league winners this year.

Would take a draw if offered.

Square Sail does that and it'll have any footy on as well.

There's that or The Ritz (a Wetherspoons) on the High Street on the way to the Stadium. The cark park near that is LN5 7EX. Or LN6 7TP, which is a car park formally Toy R Us (completely different post code but only about 100 yards between them).

Golden Cross, Golden Eagle on the high street near the ground do decent Guinness and all the pubs on the high street, trouble is they're all rammed pre-match these days.
Like Luke says we have a Wethersppons quite near the ground called the Ritz but god knows if the let away fans in now!
Parking is nearly impossible now, another option might be park at Hykeham station on the outskirts of Lincoln and get the train in, only takes 8/9 minutes from there into the city centre and chances you the guard wont even chance to charge for a ticket and save paying to park in Lincoln which is very dear!

Mailbox is decent for food. Bit further away from the ground but easily in walking distance.

As for the game, I'd be happy enough with a point after stealing all three at Northampton last weekend. How many will Swindon bring?

Disappointingly at the moment only about 500. May be a late splurge.

We picked up some injuries in our waste of time trophy match last night. Kyle Knoyle our right back limped off and is a doubt with a hamstring injury and Jak McCourt who is likely to be a sub also went off injured towards the end of the game along with a youth fella who probably wouldn't have been involved anyway.

Diagouraga played and sounded way off the pace, wandering around aimlessly like an old man wandering around a garden centre in his dressing gown, not a good sign, sounds like he is a couple of weeks from being ready for first team action.

I think we'll give you a good game on Saturday, but you'll probably take the spoils. 2-1 Lincoln Akinde and Green and Doughty (pen) for us.

As for how many we'll bring, 11 for the first team and 5 subs I reckon.

Haha, no way have you signed Dave. That's quality.

He's mostly been in and around promotion chasing League One teams but we mainly remember him for getting sent off for Brentford in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final, and the fact he was nicknamed Dave. Didn't expect we'd cross paths again.

Ah ok! Yeah I think he’s decent, just pretty unfit at the moment. Hopefully he’ll not be comedy Dave for long!

Well we didn't strengthen in the window and for me we look a bit threadbare currently.

Lincoln sound like a strong, well organised outfit. Hopefully Doughty can inspire us like last weekend and we can get something.

I'll stick with my 2-1 prediction.

Will take us time with so many new faces so I don't think we will be at full speed for a while yet. Got a bit lucky last week at Northampton but we do have a very good home record under the Cowleys.

Indeed we are and it will says 'Plastic and proud since December 2016!' Lol!
A nice attempt to claim your new found support as earlier but we all know that the Ipswich game was actually January and not December. ;)
