What sort of side will Liverpool put out? Full strength and we'll get beat comfortably. Anything like that side I wasted 90 minutes of my life watching against Everton, and maybe we get something.

In truth our last 3 games/results masked 3 poor performances, patchy at best, with only moments of quality when we needed them. We're a little short of our strongest team with a few injuries which doesn't help. We might get Ibe back to face his old club, we've missed him lately.

Given that we played on tuesday (and to be fair, didn't do much running all in all) and have a week long rest following this, I believe we'll field the strongest side available.

Glad to hear Ibe is held in higher regard than last season, hopefully he continues to develop. Haven't seen you much this season in all honesty but given what I've seen of you in the past I always consider you our perfect opponents really, what with your preference of playing it around a bit and having a dodgy defense.

We need 8 points to guarantee top four (from five games, one of which is away at Chelsea). This is very much a game we should win to achieve that.

Fair enough, sounds like it'll be a hard evening for us then. Yes we'll always give it a go which often plays into the top sides' hands. But sometimes it really pays off, so we can deal with the odd battering!

Yeah Ibe got his head down for a bit away from the first team and came back this season more effective and more confident. I think the transition from Liverpool was weird for him and needed time. We've adapted our system slightly which suits him better, and he's adapted slightly to better suit what Howe wants. Not yet a standout player, but a solid option for us who will create chances especially against the middling/lower sides.

We've gone 4-4-2, out and out strikers and two attacking wingers in Fraser and Ibe.

Liverpool basically full strength.

Hmm...there will be goals anyway.

Good to see Ibe! And two forwards is a good idea against us. It forces our six to be more conservative, which a lot of the time he won't be and you'll stand a good chance on the counter. Your wingers will be pegged back a lot though so I personally wouldn't want two too attacking minded.

Not so good from us, despite controlling most of the match. Salah too eager to score and good for us that we scored within the first fifteen minutes when Bournemouth were a shambles defensively, they've improved since.

On the contrary, I think we are looking sharp, energetic and playing some good stuff. Just need to see more efforts on goal.

For a moment I thought we'd scored, dammit offside. Amazing we're only 1 down considering the chances Liverpool have had. Long as we can somehow keep it to 1 there's always a chance. Second goal would/will be the killer.

Yeah I see you've got Defoe on, always a chance with that bugger around.

Well done Salah! Eleventyfirst shot of the game but an absolute beauty. And that TAA can't half put a good cross in.

So Firmino is apparently looking at buying a house in an offside position, according to reports.

Three points is three points. Can only wish this Bournemouth team all the best, very good side and 3-0 lied a bit, especially the second of the two digits.

Well we had a few chances, but the margin for error against such a side is tiny, we have to take them and we didn't. There's only so many chances Liverpool were going to waste/miss before they got the second and third goals.

Onto Man United midweek, at home under lights. We've done them before.

And we all hope you do again.

I echo Bilo's thoughts on Bournemouth, they are a credit to the Premier League and I enjoy watching them. What Howe has done is remarkable tbh.

How does Howe sound when/if it's brought up he could be a target for bigger clubs? If he stays around with you, what with your new stadium and the Premier League money becoming an increasingly reliable source for you, you can be a regular top eight fixture for many a years which would be absolutely remarkable.

He seems to bat all outside interests away.

I think for as long as we can move the club forwards; that means the new training ground/youth academy being built now, and the new stadium hopefully being built in the next couple years, combined with the level of control (total and unequivocal) he has here which he wouldn't get anywhere else, it'll encourage him to reject any other offers. We just have to ensure there is more room for the club to keep growing. PL survival cash is obviously very helpful to building the club, kinda self perpetuating.

Easy win in the end, although it looked ropey at one point.

Worth a quick mention, Saltrie is without doubt the most biased fan of any team I've ever seen.

Great ball in for Salah's goal.

Salah seems to have that Suarez thing going for him this season where he can score every type of goal going - headers, tricky dribbling goals, toe pokes, long-range chips, curlers etc.

If only he could manage to score without touching the ball like Kane.
