Torquay ( possibly )

Think Stockport and Torquay are capable of a double promotion, though admittedly i know fook all about National League North and South. Just seems both clubs are completely transformed.

Chesterfield maybe had top 8 form or better from when Sheridan came back so they will be fancying their chances too.

Hard to say where we will be at all really. So I won't begin.
One thing for sure is the takeover needs to be completed within the next week so the overhaul of the squad can happen.

The better players are largely under contract Barring any escape clauses but the rest of them are too. A lot OG mutual terminations need to happen this week.

Firstly well done to Sol Campbell for the job that he has done keeping Macclesfield up. I said at the time that I thought that Macclesfield could do worse than taking a punt on a rookie manager. Yes he speaks a lot of nonsense but he should be judged on the job that he has done and you have to hold your hands up and say he's been excellent.

I was abroad and so watched the Swindon v County game on Ifollow and I was susprised a how lacklustre Notts were in the first half. The players only really seemed to look like they wanted to win when they heard that Cambridge had scored. We were no better mind you, but had bugger all to play for.

The Cambridge equaliser completely knocked the wind out of Notts sails and the second goal probably sums up your season.

I personally will miss the many Notts fans on here, the are generally good value and have taken their terrible season on the chin with good grace. Hopefully they bounce back stronger.

True, but you could quite easily have found yourself 2-0 up, especially given how poor we have been at home. Do you think Notts will stick with Ardley now? I guess you need a period of stability after chopping and changing managers this season?

To be honest, I don't think sacking him now is a good idea at all. With the take over, the amount of players that need to be cleared off the books and teams are already preparing getting rid will just hamper it all more.

I think in terms of stability we need to keep him for the summer and maybe see how it goes next season.
Very much doubt we will trouble the top spot but I'd be hopefully of being in touching distance of the humungous playoffs they have down there.
