Bloody hell your survival was nothing short of a miracle. You all start again on zero points in August so be positive.

Exactly right, not sure why the Macc fans aren't a tad happier about staying up after being completely written off and barely out of the bottom two all season, don't wish to patronise but they've done well to survive. We pulled off the great escape at Stockport one year after being bottom of league one nearly all season and the feeling was incredible.

Don't get me wrong I'm happy we haven't been relegated, but what's gone on at the club this year has been a complete farce. I find it hard to celebrate something that should have been avoided by just running the club properly. There are still numerous people accountable for the cluster fuck of issues this season and it all needs sorting out this summer.

Just out of interest will it turn nasty against the players if you go down or are you just apathetic about it.

Reason i ask is because i've just watched last weeks Quest and the Ipswich fans were incredible given the season they have had. Almost non stop singing and ovations.
Really i'd of expected the opposite but somehow they have all pulled together.

As it turned out the reaction was surprisingly positive! Although it was more a show of force from the away support for the football club and each other than supporting the current players I think.

Heard 4 coaches of your lot turned up in Farringdon before the game - about 10 miles out of Swindon.

For a small market town occupied by nimbys the locals couldn’t have been more accommodating and were very complimentary about the behaviour and good humour. No heavy handed plod either

We’re decent, honest!

However, notts have always been above their station and dismissive/derogatory towards Mansfield.

A spell in non-league will help them re-evaluate their place in the world - ironic that a dodgy megalomaniac of a chairman would cause their demise.

We came back stronger and better after the conference, there’s no reason why chesterfield and county can’t do the same
