Right, for those wondering what sort of side we’re playing:

Mitov

Darling
Dunk

Coulson
Taylor
Lewis
Brown

Jones
Ibehre

We’ve dropped Gary Deegan, our captain, from midfield which I think actually strengthens us (playing with 10 men would be an improvement frankly). Our two fullbacks are our best two and no complaints about Coulson, Lewis (Maris is injured), Brown, Ibehre or Jones from a “best team” standing.

Taylor is probably our best centre back but is playing in midfield in replacement of Deegan. Taylor has played there before and we’ve won so not awful. Our weakest area is centre back where, aside from Taylor, our other first choice defender Taft is on the bench. John and Darling are both suspect. Mitov is our current first choice GK.

So probably 9 or 10 spots filled by our best players, Notts can’t blame us really if we still lose. Well they can but it’ll be because we’re generally turd rather than because of the 11 chosen to be on the pitch.

Felt fine until Cambridge scored, now I’m in bits. Nothing has happened here, we’ve taken the wait and see if Macc can cope with the pressure approach, at some point we have to go for it but be surprised if it was straight away.
