Yeah it will be edgy. Both sides were a bit too open the other day against lesser opposition, and will be looking to keep it tight, wary of each others strengths.

Can see it being 1 - 1 or something of that nature.

I can't see City winning, Liverpool will win convincingly or we'll see a draw.

People keep saying it’s all on City. To a degree yes, because I think Klopp would take the draw right now. Look at it like this though. If Liverpool win, they win the league imo. Massive chance for Klopp to runaway with it here.

Can't wait for this one. Think City will win and that'll blow the title race wide open again, if it goes the other way even at this stage I struggle to see a way back for City.

If you were Liverpool you'd definitely take a draw, City don't need to win it either unlike some media outlets seem to think

Seven points adrift in January against a team that hasn't lost a game in the league all season? I reckon City need to win.

If we don't lose today, hopefully people will talk of us going unbeaten so that we can bottle that instead of bottling the actual league win. One can hope.

Danilo Stones Kompany Laporte is not a fantastic back four. No KDB either. It all of a sudden feels slightly less like a free hit.

Kompany definitely could have been sent off for that foul against Salah. Jumping in, stretched leg, studs up. Was never going to happen mind.

Overall I think we've been doing very well and created the best chance of the game. But Mané has been fluffing chances all season and Agüero doesn't. Absolutely fantastic effort from the Argentinian and little to do about it. Obviously Lovren could've done better but all top strikers will gain half a yard from time to time, and when they follow it up with such an effort, hats off.

I still feel we're in good shape for the second half, but it also feels like the type of game to be settled by one goal.

Liverpool should have scored first but very well taken strike by Aguero.

City definitely the better side so far. Liverpool have been disappointing, but credit to City for that.

City completely outplayed pool but switch off for ten seconds and they’re level. Think the scouse have that bit of champions’ luck this season.

Lovren was an absolute disaster but I think we created more chances than City?

Fernandinho was the difference. Magnificent player.

Obviously this is always a bit iffy in small samples but nonetheless:

And Kompany really should have been sent off:

All in all we were unlucky to lose, in my opinion.
