Game of the weekend no doubt. We're in a good place, nobody expects us to get anything here, but if we do the league might sit up and take notice. Nuno has used the same starting XI all season so I don't think it will change today either.

Patricio
Bennett - Coady - Boly
Doherty ------------------ Jonny
Neves - Moutinho
Costa ---------------- Jota
Jiminez
Man Utd 2-1 Wolves

This is the game for me. All my family are Utd fans and grew up watching them and at one stage had a season ticket which I am thankful for as saw some amazing games. But winning or getting a result here would be huge for me.

Worry is that despite our play the personal of out defense is still less than ideal, particularly Doherty who won't get the sort of game he did last week.

Utd 3-1 Wolves

We look to have turned a corner recently - we'll see how accurate that is today.

3-1 to Wolves. Boly hat-trick. I'm looking at great odds for this. Score level 1-1 at 90+2 minutes. Mourinho sent off in 53rd minute for reminiscing about the good old days and doing a Cantona impersonation.

It is going to be close, I think Wolves will give the home team a fright and have the fans biting their fingernails dreading another reverse...but I think the team in red will prevail in the end.

He used to go to Mol quite a lot when Darren Ferguson played for us. So probably there to support the golden men.

Pleased and yet slightly ruing our missed chances. Been a great start to the season, feels strange to say with only 2 wins, but 3 draws including 2 against both Manchester clubs feels very promising.

Sanchez might be one of the worst signings ever, apparently?

Fun fact: Like Manchester United, Chelsea have won every single Champions League match they have played this season.

Credit to Mourinho, he said Wolves fully deserved the point, more than we usually get out of a man with a pea sized sense of generosity but an elephantine ego. Well done Wolves, a real kick in the b*llocks to Man Utd's title aspirations.
If I'm honest I thought Man Utd would nab it in the second half, a bit like they would have done under Fergie (welcome back chap, I hope to hear your cantankerous tones for a little while longer!) but the "genius" subs didn't work out. Surely the players are to blame...:dis:

Love this team, love how the players give everything to for the shirt and have a never say die attitude. The transformation over the last 12+ months under Nuno and his backroom staff has been nothing short of remarkable.

It's not the money. We had money with Paul Lambert and Walter Zenga and we were awful. It takes a decent manager to get 100% out of each player the way Nuno does.

Also every team we have played this season bar Burnley has a playing squad that absolutely dwarfs ours in terms of transfer costs. The 3 subs Man City brought on against Wolves a couple of weeks ago combined was worth more in transfer fees than every transfer fee we have ever spent in our history.

Was trying to make a valid point rather than trading Donald Trump memes.

Players like Ryan Bennett, Conor Coady, Matt Doherty have improved tenfold under the current management. That is testament to the work done on the training ground opppsed to throwing money about.

The money point is both fair and unfair. If it was money alone that led to success then we wouldn't have got out the championship as others have spent significantly more over the course of the last couple of years.

However despite the mentioned free signings, and bringing in an 18 year old academy prospect away at Old Trafford. All that is helped massively by Neves, Moutiniho and Patricio. Who are the sort of signings/players no other promoted or championship side have ever pulled off.

I reckon you spend more time on there than the regulars do, mate.

Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery.

It is absolutely the first step and I plan on taking it when you start winning again.
