We have 13 points after 10 games, so we're at about the quarter-way mark to absolute safety. Both ourselves and Barnsley heavily tipped to struggle this season, so perhaps an early six-pointer. Think the game will be scrappy.

1-1. Wallace.

Gregory's back, will be interesting to see if he jumps straight back into the lineup. Fred's done okay in his absence but he's not a striker really.

Gregory re-acclimatised better than Morison has, which I certainly didn't expect. Don't think either will get us goals at this level, but they're both good players in their own right and open up space for O'Brien, Wallace, Saville, etc, with their energy and movement. I don't think anyone knows what Fred's best position is, and he hasn't shown enough to displace any of our wingers or strikers, so hard to know what to do with him really. He needs games, but we haven't got the numbers to let him go on loan either. A tough one.

Would be very happy with a point here. We were terrible last night against a poor QPR.

Just want to get it over with and into the international break so we can focus on getting players fit and get the imminent takeover sorted.

Taking my Chelsea supporting girlfriend's dad to this, be interesting if he actually goes through with wearing his Chelsea shirt as promised....

We've a good record vs Millwall recently but I've a feeling that won't help us tomorrow, the Lions have started well and look impressive at The Den. We should have picked up 4 points instead of 1 last week but this team just doesn't have enough metal to finish teams off or defend a lead yet. I think another point on the board before the international break would be a decent result, provided we don't concede in the last minute again.

Well that was awful, we never seem to show up in games where we're arguably the favourites. Morison looks knackered after all of 10 games, no forward has scored from open play this season (unless AOB counts but he never plays up front), and defensively we weren't up to much today either... I'm sure Webster's injury didn't help but it's no excuse. Our penalty was sketchy too.

Oh well, well done Barnsley and let's hope from a massive improvement next time out.

Over the moon with that. Always great to take all three points away. Welcome to international break to get a few off the field issues sorted and then back with a couple of tough home fixtures against Boro and Hull.

Intl break has come at a good time. We looked tired and short of ideas. Williams out for three months, a big concern: we missed him badly this afternoon.

Need three good additions in January because after only a couple of injuries our squad already looks very thin.

Congratulations Barnsley. Still look a decent side after losing so many key players.
