Lincoln can be excused as they had things wrapped up a while ago, but the rest of the top 7 seem to be doing their best not to get promoted. Whether that’s an indictment of their bottle or class I don’t know but it’s afflicted a lot of clubs. Doesn’t augur well for those who do go up.

We genuinely really don’t deserve it, and on the same token sounds like you don’t either. I think if we get play-offs we would be beaten fairly quickly and comfortably. *if* we go up this season, it will not be a season you look back on and think how good we are. I think it will be quickly forgotten.

To be fair first half of the season we played some really good football, I dunno if we just don’t have anything left in the tank now but those players are completely devoid of any sort of confidence, and skill.

The last two games we have been well beaten, Stevenage and Oldham were simply more up for it - I don’t get how that’s happened.

Same here, port vale and Colchester we’re far more up for it than we were. It’s baffling.

It’s quite amazing looking back now, but our promotion should have easily been sealed up a couple of games ago, it really doesn’t matter how we acquire promotion but if we don’t I worry about the ramifications.

I think if concede first like the last two games we will be comfortably beaten, again. Gotta go for it.

Whatever steam those players have left (very little) they need to leave it all on the pitch Saturday.

Yup, and have been for most of the second half of the season.

We're still without Moore-Taylor, Cargill, Baudry and Gilbey for definite whilst Walsh and Williams are doubtful. All of those are defensive players (apart from Gilbey) and five of those six would be guaranteed starters for us.
