Just my two pennyworth on the so called trouble. WTF did anyone expect. One team's supporters had the joy of promotion, the other probably felt more like they had been relegated so there was always going to be some grief with that amount of passion/feelings and the idiots that follow all clubs.

It’s quite a shame that 3 Mansfield fans were arrested and only 1 MK fan was when they quite clearly instigated it and caused the issue in the first place.

Typical of how we’re treated really

Yeah it’s completely wrong to try and blame one side from this, I’m hearing various versions of both sets of fans being tits.

Nice touch from our lot cleaning the changing rooms too! View attachment 10886

Flitcroft should have turned the lights off on the way out!

A quality post by ASF , hits nail on head.

Wake up Bargain Booze! If that isn’t s bottle job / choke with half a dozen or so games to go then I don’t know what is.

Dance on Notts grave until you can’t stand up , it’s been 40+ years in the waiting for you after all so can’t blame you but when it comes to your own club this season.

Put down the cheep booze and wake up!

Saying all that Stags to go up via Wembley would make this season even better for MTFC
You really are wrong we have a good budget ,probably top 3 or 4 ,like ermm notts , lincoln ,mk dons fgr ,so in effect one of the top 5 budgets in the league ,now heres the simplicity of it we finished 4th ,certainly not failure ,bottom or second bottom yes ,but 4th no way ,anyway we still have a chance despite some of the rambling on here notts are chip paper now

to not go up this season with the budget we’ve had would be a failure.

It’s open and closed case. No ifs, no buts. It would be a failure

whats to fear ? ha ha thats what i think when i wake up in the middle of the night screeming at forest green for time wasting in the warm up , seriously you should be favourites for play offs over the season you have proved that , personally i think our chances are good if we have the right players available probably like every one else though ! newport will aproach these games as cup games and look how well they done in the cup , so ye whats to fear , swa swa
When I say whats to fear i dont mean to sound as if i think we will piss it ,just trying to put a positive perspective on it unlike the suicidal stags on here

MK didn't instigate anything, you're just taking that view because you're a Mansfield fan and feel obliged to stick up for that side.

As I said yesterday, and as yet nobody has given a good explanation, there were a hundred or so Mansfield supporters waiting at least five minutes before the final whistle at the bottom of the stairs at the edge of the pitch waiting to come on the pitch - only stopped from doing so by the police and stewards.

Now why would they want to get on the pitch if they weren't celebrating promotion? They obviously weren't doing it in response to being 'goaded' as they were there waiting five minutes before the full time whistle. That video on YouTube and Twitter proves those Mansfield fans couldn't wait to get on there for no other reason than to confront home fans who would inevitably have invaded the pitch to celebrate.

I'm also not surprised only 3 Mansfield fans were arrested, given my own experience outside the ground - should have been more than that.

I thought we'd agreed on this yesterday that there were idiots on both sides who didn't help the situation and to say MK instigated things is simply incorrect.

My point is it was instigated by MK fans.

Who ran onto the pitch running at our fans. MK.

Who were giving it large MK

Mansfield fans reacted which was unfortunate but after reviewing it its clear they were provoked.

Again, why were a hundred or so of your fans waiting at the bottom of the aisle five minutes before the final whistle waiting to come on the pitch and being prevented from doing so by the police and stewards? I assume it wasn't to give us hugs.

Even if some MK fans hadn't have run towards the away end, are you really naive enough to think those Mansfield fans wouldn't have run onto the pitch anyway and confronted home fans in the way they did?

Even I've accepted some of our fans were wrong, but at least I recognise that. Ask yourself this too, if it was at Mansfield and Mansfield fans pitch invaded (which they would), do you really think none of your lot would have run over to our fans as well?

Having read the Mansfield forum good to see at least one of your fans commenting on how some Mansfield fans behaved in the car park after the game..

"Far worse was the behaviour of our goons in the car park after the game towards MK fans in cars trying to get out of the car park. "

I agree too, the stuff outside the stadium was worse than inside, which ultimately didn't lead to anything other than lots of fans and people in yellow jackets on the pitch.

Really disappointing to see on the pitch and hear about in the car park. Purely down to inevitable disappointment, frustration and alcohol combined on the day

Nope - some individuals (can’t call them stags fans) only go to the ‘bigger’ games to cause trouble.

These individuals? Who do they support? Are they former Stags fans? Part time Stags fans? Forest fans? Non football fans who like beer and a fight?

MK fans giving it the big'un in front of the away end and legging it when confronted is embarrassing (much like the club itself) - fair play to those Mansfield lads.
