Ah you falling for what Arsenal fans tell you now. Surely you'd have seen his potential when he was at you lot.

Yeah, but he has this weird thing about playing centrally now, when all of his talents make him a winger.

I can vouch that Southampton fans on here/TFF were saying he was overrated when we bought him. In fact they were insisting that Lallana was much better, which must be confusing for you.

Lallana is perhaps the most overrated c*** of all times. Barely championship standard.

Indeed, and he'll be played as a winger this season too. He might be adaptable to playing centrally in a few years though, he's come inside in a few games for us and played fairly well. There is definitely better options in our squad and in the market than Ox central right now though that's for sure.

I've always thought there was a good player in Ox whenever I saw him at your place, and I haven't changed my mind after he's moved to LFC. He definitely has underperformed in his career, and we'll see if he can indeed kick on under Klopp. FSG wouldn't have forked out 40 mill on him if they didn't also see his potential, as that's a significant outlay for us.

Back onto Salah though, wonder how many he could get if he stays injury-free this season?

He could easily bag over 30 in all competitions, including over 20 in the league. He's bound to have a lull at some point though, although not Lukaku levels of lull (yes, I went there Steven).

Chelsea, Yernited, Citeh have fearsome forward lines. Liverpool's is average by comparison.

Hmmmm. Strange then that, despite injuries to both Mane and Coutinho -- restricting both to a handful of league games each, Chelsea have actually scored less in the league this season than we have and United only have 3 more.

And last season we scored 24 goals more than United.

City I'll give you.

Chelsea have had Hazard injured nearly all season though. Hazard is better than any of your guys. Morata is also a better striker than firmbooty.
I do really like the Liverpool trio up top though, but its a very pace reliant set. Which is why you struggle against the bus parkers a bit more than the others imo.
The thing with Citeh is they play Aguero, Jesus, KDB, Sterling, Sane and Silva all in the same lineup. I don't think any team comes close in terms of attacking threat in a starting 11.

On Mo Salah. The importance of Mane in his current run of form shouldn't be disregarded. In the 6 games the Senegalese has started, Mo has scored 6 goals. In the 6 without, just 3.

I think Mo and Mané would start for any side in the league. The Brazilian pair, not so much.

I'm not sure what you're disagreeing with JimJams, or if you're disagreeing at all. Chelsea have had an injury to an important attacking player, we have had injuries to two important attacking players, and with that both teams have scored around the same amount of goals. The point is, claiming Chelsea (and United) have attacking front lines in a different class to Liverpool is bullshit, and the goalscoring stats last season and so far this season back that up. I acknowledged City.

You're an on top team. How many goals did you score combined against Citeh, Spurs & United exactly? Point proven.

Since the start of last season, 7 goals. But wait a second, is that seriously the entirety of your evidence for the claim? Come on Abertawe, I know you like a windup but you had over 12 hours to either think up a response or quietly accept you didn't put enough thought into the initial claim. What you came up with there is a little bit pathetic.

Let's see what this FEARSOME attacking line does against Chelsea in a couple of games time then. You've played 3 of the good teams so far. Winning none and scoring just 1 goal. As I said, you're merely an on top team, flat track bullies.

half decent player. however, morata has a better goal to mins ratio and is therefore the far superior signing.
Yeah never mind that Morata both cost more, earns more per week and plays up front. Minutes per goal is the only way to compare the value of signings.

In which case Morata comes, like you say, out on top with a whopping 102 minutes per goal to Salah's 104 minutes per goal.

We struggle against the bus parkers almost exclusively because we have no threats from deep positions. It's a problem we've had every season since Alonso left except for when Gerrard had his swan song as a nr 6 in 2013/14. Neither Salah nor Mané have less or more of an impact against bus parkers really, if anything they're the exceptions. The players who really struggle against bus parkers are Henderson, Wijnaldum and Firmino.

he cost more and earns more because he's a better player at a better club beelo mate. the bigger, more successful clubs like chelsea naturally pay higher wages than liverpool because they attract a different class of player and can afford it due to their much higher profile and aforementioned success. of course that isn't always the case. there are hilarious exceptions to the rule. for example, ordinary players such as milner, sturridge, lallana or oxlade chamberlain earning more per week than the likes of dominant world class midfielder and all round great guy kante. but that's more down to desperation, delusion and poor management on liverpool's part.

yes mate, i agree. an incredible return from a player carrying his team offensively. even more incredible given his heart breaking injury earlier this season. what a guy, what a hero, what a signing.

You should hold your trollings to a higher standard than this G.B mate. You know I stand behind you through thick and thin and while I agree the two minutes less per goal (it equates to ALMOST a goal if you play every minute of the season excluding stoppage time) is definitely worth the money and the wages, you're just bringing up irrelevant drivel here mate. None of this is relevant to the fact that striker Morata is a far superior signing to winger Salah because he'll, statistically, manage 0,6 more goals over a season.

Money well spent.

typical of you that beelo mate. doesn't like facts so dismisses it as trolling. if you truly believed i was trolling you wouldn't respond, such is your level of maturity. very disappointing response to the facts presented mate.
